Tomura walked around the giant city with his hood up, the sun was shining brightly. Last night he had slept under a damn bench, he almost growled at how pathetic he was.
He should have broken into some home and stole it from the owners.
Can he even steal a home…
He shook his head and sidestepped a rushing large man who was more concerned with the phone in his hands than the humans surrounding him.
His eyes suddenly met with a fellow teenager in the crowd, it was a girl, a girl his age. He doesn't know if he's ever even seen a girl his age so far.
She gave him a polite smile and broke eye contact but his eyes followed the girl like they were attached to her.
He was barged into from behind by an impatient woman who looked three times his age.
His wide eyes suddenly narrowed in the form of the older woman who didn't even apologise. What was wrong with these people.

His hand reached out and brushed the woman's suit jacket and turned it to dust that blew away in New York air.
The woman turned with wide eyes and looked for what the hell had happened but could find nothing.

Tomura approached a raggedy looking man in the back of an alley, he was at least 30 with some uneven dark stubble.
Tomura approached the man fearlessly, "Where are we?" He asked, he wanted directions to whatever the poorest part of New York was, where ever the most abandoned property was preferred.
"Huh, kid back off" his accent was harsh and his brown almost black bloodshot eyes met his vivid red ones.

"Where are we? Where is the poorest part of this city?" Tomura asked the sketch looking man.
"Kid back the fuck off" the man snarled "what do you not understand" he pulled up his jacket and revealed a pistol placed in his waistband.
Tomura cringed, he wouldn't be stealing this man's gun, it had been places would rather not have his hand.
Natalia's gun was much better anyways. Not that he had any bullets left in it either way.
The man took the cringe as fear and nodded "So kid, Get. Out. Of. Here!" He growled at the teen.
Tomura looked back up at the man's eyes and raised his right hand and in a burst of speed placed it on the man's shoulder.
The man went to grab his gun but only screamed as suddenly the skin on his shoulder was being slowly and painfully cracked and decayed into dust.
"Now listen, where are we? And where is the poorest place in this city" Tomura said slowly as the man screamed and shouted.
"Poorest, fuck-" his moaning continued, Tomura wasn't exactly happy with the ineligible ramble coming from the mouth of the man.
"Poorest place is Harlem right no-FUCK!" He shouted as the bone was now slowly disintegrating.
"Harlem-Ha-Harlem got fucked up recently so FUCK!" The man dropped to the ground whimpering and holding his shoulder.
Tomura sighed, and turned around and left the long alley and entered the main streets of New York.
He waved down a passing Taxi, he jumped in the empty backseat.
"Harlem" he said and leaned back in the seat.
"What part of Harlem?" The taxi driver said with annoyance lacing his voice.
"Uh, I don't know just like the middle" Tomura said with a shrug, the taxi driver sighed and started to make his way across the city.

Once they arrived Tomura tried to open the door only to realise it was locked, he turned to the taxi driver in confusion.
"My money?" The driver said with furrowed brows and an downturned mouth.
Tomura snorted "Fuck off" he used decay to turn the door to dust and climbed out the now panicking taxi drivers vehicle.
The taxi drove off quickly with the tires screeching as he turned a corner.
He looked around in confusion, this place looked like it had been flattened. There were large trenches in peoples front gardens and tarmac ripped from the road by what must have been a massive hand.
A large memorial stood in the centre of the road, it was of two massive monsters fighting with names engraved across the statue.
This place was fucked.
Perfect.
He walked around the neighbourhood looking for houses with no signs of life, once he found one he would approach and knock, if no one answered he would search the gardens for signs of life, look through the windows for anything.
But so far, no luck.
And after almost 6 hours of looking, knocking and being accused of being a creepy paedo stalking around in the dark he had finally found it.
An empty damn house, he went to the back garden and decayed the sheds door hoping to find some sort of tool to open the door with, he didn't want cold air coming through during the night so he can't just decay it.
*Shink*
He turned quickly, his eyes wide and saw the shirt silhouetted form of Wolverine. He instinctively took a step back to try cover himself in the shadows of the night.
The moonlight reflected on Wolverines metallic claws. The 2 thin scars on his cheek were itching.
"Kid, you gonna talk" the gruff voice knocked him out of his stupor. His eyes met the older man's.
"Why are you here!" He almost shouted, he felt out of breath. He had no buildings nearby to collapse on the man and he sure couldn't get into the house with Wolverine stood by the door.
"To talk." Wolverine said.
Tomura scoffed. "Yeah, and I'm here to do a property inspection" Tomura replied with sarcasm clear in his tone.
Wolverine snorted "Xavier asked me to come here, thought it would be better than him."
"Whys that, whys he not here?" Tomura asked with narrowed eyes.
"He said you didn't trust him" Wolverine replied bluntly.
"I don't trust you either" Tomura retorted.
Wolverine didn't seem to react to that "He wants you to join the school"
"Why would I do that?" Tomura asked.
"Food, shelter" Wolverine shrugged. "Apparently you wanna be strong? Well the students that train at this school would wipe the floor with you bub"
Tomura narrowed his eyes on the short man.
"I just took you and your whole group on yesterday" Tomura replied snidely.
"No, you just outsmarted them and had a whole lot of advantages." Wolverine snorted. "If we had Jean alone you would still be knocked out"
"I got food and shelter here" Tomura said in attempts to move the conversation along. "And tons of people out here would wanna fight me"
Wolverine almost laughed but only snorted "You wanna fight gangbangers, old ladies and kids, your not gonna get any stronger like that bub"

A moment of silence occurred where no one said anything, Tomura just felt scared, anxious, confused.
"Fuck you" Tomura said with his voice cracking half way through "Fuck all of you" he felt cornered and he did what any animal did when cornered.
Attack.
The ground exploded suddenly as the mud beneath them disintegrated, it left Logan off balance but Tomura was prepared for it.
They were now standing on a slippy layer of mud, Wolverine was still regaining his balance quickly but quite easily weaved an attempted open palm strike.
Logan detracted his claws back into his hands and swung for the kid, who barely stumbled under the punch and fell to a heap at Logan's feat.
Logan scoffed, the kids balance was shit.
Tomuras hand shot out around Logan's ankle and started to decay the man's skin, his muscle and all the way down to bone.
Logan cringed, that fucking hurt.
Only the bone didn't change, it was metallic, shiny.
"The fu-" Tomuras words were interrupted by a boot cracking against the teenagers jaw leaving him sprawled in the mud below.
He was about to move but felt the boot of wolverine press hard against his back. He winced as he felt like his back was snapping at the sheer pressure.
He let out a growl as his face was pressed into the wet soil below.
"You gonna join now?" The voice of wolverine asked without an ounce of care in his tone.
Tomura snarled "Fuck you!" He tried to turn his body but only got the boot pressed harder onto his extremely fragile feeling spine.
"Listen kid, I'm just showing you the difference between us. You got a strong ability that you can improve, you've got potential but your never gonna reach it without our help"
Tomura felt like tears were about to start falling from his red eyes, he wouldn't even be able to wipe them away.
He was pathetic.
"How old are you? What Fifteen, Sixteen at a push right" Wolverine asked.
Tomura snarled.
The pressure only got worse.
"I don't know!" He gritted out. "I can't remember shit!"
The pressure ceased for a moment.
A singular moment.
A moment was all he needed.
He turned onto his back and placed his hands around both of wolverines ankles with a bloodthirsty grin on his face as he met the eyes of the man above him.
The was the last thing he saw as Logan used his strength to simply get his right foot out of the deadly grip and kick the teen in his chin.
