Tracy's Confession

Seated with Tracy in the back seat of one of the military jeeps, Lucius watched people cheer and clap as the military convoy headed towards the barracks out the outskirts of the city.

While he focused on the faces of the people in the residential districts cheering, Tracy leaned on his chest, holding onto his hand while gently stroking the dragon scales tattoo on his right arm.

"Are you nervous?" Tracy asked in a low and intimate voice, which slightly stunned Lucius.

The air she exuded now was different from her normal jovial nature. Her gaze was clear and precise, focused on Lucius and revealing her true nature.

"Not really." Lucius decided to take this discussion seriously since Tracy was doing the same.

A brief silence followed after the question before Tracy spoke again.

"What do you think about you and me… Do you really think we can make something work out of this?" Tracy asked with a stern look.
