Demon-Kin Martial Technique

Begin!

The signal was given and Alex Briggs made the first move. In a swift motion, he sprang forward, shooting at Lucius with a terrifying movement speed.

"Fast." Lucius admitted with a slight frown, but he made no move.

Swish!

Alex bounced off the ground, spinning in the air as he delivered a perfect spinning kick to Lucius's face.

Bam!

To everyone's surprise, Lucius did not attempt to dodge and even when the attack struck, it couldn't move him.

Bam!

Lucius responded with an open palm to Alex's chest, sending him hurling back across the football field-sized arena.

Bang!

Everyone watched in shock as Alex rolled on the ground a couple of times before springing back to his feet. A trail of blood rolled down his lips while he grabbed his chest with a smile on his face.

"Super strength, pretty decent." Alex complimented him.

"What are you talking about? I haven't used my ability yet." Lucius said with a blank expression.

Buzz.

Everyone was stunned, many even rose to their feet, clearly shaken by his words.

The Briggs family were known to have evolved differently from other humans due to their unique genes altered by the demonic martial arts they practiced. This gave him superhuman physical capabilities and made them as strong as humans, with C to B-rated super strength abilities.

With the addition of their deadly martial arts, they easily gained the potential of an S-rated guardian. This was what made them special, so hearing that Lucius's superior strength had nothing to do with his ability was truly shocking.

"I came at you the way I did earlier because I doubted your capabilities. I apologize for that, allow me to rectify my mistakes." Alex said, the smile on his face gone.

He assumed a fighting stance and his aura instantly changed. His almost unnoticeable presence became oppressive and vile, red presence shimmering from his body.

Alex's lean body began bulging with muscles, his red veins popping out of all parts of his body. All the veins could be traced from all parts of his body, leading to his eyes, and with the blood flowing in, his eyes turned scarlet red.

Buzz!

For the first time since he gained this power, Lucius felt the threat of danger looming over him. He felt his body shiver involuntarily, and instinctively he put his hands up while slightly crouching.

'What's this?' Lucius had never felt a presence so diabolic.

Students stood up, excited as they pulled out their phones and recorded the fight. It was not every day you get to see S-rated potential students fight, especially one as popular as Alex Briggs.

"Demon-Kin First form: Flow!"

Alex's eyes turned pitch black as the bright red veins turned black while his body shot forward like a missile.

Haaa!

Bam!

Lucius crossed his hands to block the punch and for the first time he felt a stinging pain in his arm, but it still wasn't enough to move him.

"Still not enough?" Miss Joanne was stunned.

"Haaa!" Lucius growled as he forced his hands open, but Alex had already retreated to a safe distance.

Bam!

Lucius sprang forward, chasing after Alex, but to his greatest surprise, Alex halted his retreat and attacked.

"Die!" Lucius bellowed as he threw a punch forward.

Swoosh!

Lucius's eyes widened in shock as he saw his fist narrowly breeze past Alex's face.

Demon-Kin Second Form: Perceive!

Swish!

Clenching his fist, all the veins bulging in all parts of Alex's body vanished as his fist shimmered with red light while it swung forward.

Demon-Kin Third Form: Kill!

Boom!

Lucius felt Alex's fist strike his body, but strangely his outer skin was not damaged, it was his organs that were rattled by the attack.

Swish!

Lucius skidded back by over three meters and when he stopped he was forced to his knees, spitting out a mouthful of blood. 

"Aaah!" He groaned in pain while gripping his belly. 

It felt like all his internal organs had been rattled by that single attack.

[The first form boosts his physical attributes. The second form improves his perception and the third form allows him to release his internal force while striking, bypassing your physics defenses and damaging your organs directly.]

'It's not that bad.' Lucius grinned, revealing his bloody set of teeth.

[A few more of this and you will pass out] The voice warned, but Lucius wasn't given the chance to respond.

His attention was taken away by Alex's approaching figure, who wore a stern expression.

"Don't you think it's time you fight me seriously with your ability?" Alex snarled.

Lucius frowned at this, his hands reaching for the ground, but he ultimately decided not to. If Alex's internal force was used to harm his internal organs, then coating his body with an armor of earth wouldn't be useful.

Instead, he would be slowed down a bit more, giving Alex more opportunity to harm him.

"Hmph!" Lucius snorted disdainfully as he rose to his feet. 

His shirt was torn, mimicking Alex's fist print, and his skin where he got hit was reddened. 

Right now, he could only rely on the regenerative abilities of his Xenovian genes to help him recover faster. As long as he could last long enough, he was certain he would get the chance to get a hold of Alex.
