Chapter 38 It is the wish of all of us to drive Quirrell away

"No one's trying to break that record!" Ron retorted loudly.

Harry was also filled with shame.

George smirked at this and said, "But I have good news for you now, your demerits are outdated and everyone is now concerned about something else."

Intrigued, Harry asked, "What is it?"

"It's a secret!" Fred said.

"But I'm guessing that Andy and Miss Granger already know." George chimed in.

Harry and Ron immediately turned their heads to look.

"That's right, we already knew!" Hermione had a proud look on her face. Not only did she know, she even knew who the designer of this plan was.

Ron was filled with confusion, "What the hell happened?"

"Don't you dare pry," Fred said with his arm around Ron's shoulders.

"Although many people know the secret, we won't tell anyone who doesn't know the secret," George said.

"Have a nice dinner!"

Fred and George patted Harry and Ron and waved at Andy again before dashing off.

"What the hell is the secret?"

Ron looked annoyed, how come it seemed like the whole world knew and only he and Harry didn't?

What the hell were they missing out on?

Harry turned his head and asked, "Andy, can't you really tell?"

"It's not like I can't tell."

Andy smiled devilishly, "Those who know the secret can discuss it with each other, but we won't tell those who don't know the secret."

Harry, Ron: "..."

Harry took a bite of his grilled sausage, which used to taste delicious in the past, but now tasted like it had no flavour at all.

This 'everyone knows except you' feeling was so annoying.

He bet he would lose sleep tonight.

Somewhat disbelieving, Ron got up and walked over to Michael Corner and asked with a raised eyebrow, "Michael, did you know about that?"

Michael nodded, "You mean that thing? Of course, I know about it, and I've agreed to it."

"You agreed to what?" Ron pressed.

"You don't know?"

Michael shot Ron a wary look, then waved his hand impatiently, "If you don't know, don't pry."

Ron: "..."

Unwilling to give up, Ron asked a few more people he knew but received basically the same answer.

Those who didn't know were just as curious as he was, and those who knew refused to tell him exactly what the secret was.

After spinning in circles, Ron sat back down with a frustrated look on his face.

Andy and Hermione looked at each other and smiled, this kind of thing seemed quite entertaining.

Even though there was no secrecy magic cast, it was as if everyone agreed by heart that no one was going to reveal the secret to someone who didn't know.

It was very Hogwarts!

***

However, there was no impermeable wall in this world after all, and in just one night's time, the news of 'Slytherin's intention to oust Professor Quirrell' quickly spread throughout Hogwarts at the speed of Nimbus 2000.

By the time the next morning arrived, the young wizards had already begun to discuss the news brightly.

Regarding what Slytherin had done, the little wizards just had two words to say: well done!

No one at Hogwarts liked Professor Quirrell.

Many of the younger wizards were excited, and although the whole thing had been spearheaded by someone from Slytherin, it was the result of all the younger wizards working together.

Maybe the Gryffindors held a different opinion, but no one cared what they thought.

Because, once the plan succeeded, Professor Quirrell would become the first professor to be ousted by the student body in the thousand-year history of Hogwarts.

They would make a history!

By the time Andy and Hermione arrived in the Great Hall, there was new news from the Slytherin side - they had already mailed the letter of complaint.

A cheer rang out through the great hall.

Andy glanced over at the Slytherin long table, where Malfoy was currently talking to the person next to him with a proud look on his face.

Just by looking at the way his eyebrows were raised, he could tell how proud he was right now.

"Andy, let's go!" Hermione pulled Andy.

"Uh-huh!" Andy nodded.

The Ravenclaw end of the room was also abuzz right now, everyone was looking forward to Professor Quirrell leaving Hogwarts, and that was especially true for the young hawks who loved to learn.

"If we succeed, this will be big enough to go down in school history."

"It's a victory for all of us!"

"We'll definitely succeed."

"I took Divination this year, and Professor Trelawney predicted that one person would leave Hogwarts this year. I think the one she predicted is Professor Quirrell."

The young hawks were discussing heatedly, and Andy was just about to ask the third-year student who had taken Divination what exactly Professor Trelawney had prophesied...

Just then he heard another fifth-year student say, "Don't believe her, Professor Trelawney predicts a death at Hogwarts every year, but it's never come true."

Andy: "..."

A liar!

It shouldn't be, right?

Professor Trelawney's ancestors had been great seers for generations, and Andy had read quite a few books on the subject.

It was only that prophecy required talent, and Andy's talent in this area was zero for the time being.

"Andy, do you think the professors know about this now?" Hermione looked a little flustered.

There were three things the young witch feared most in her life: the first was not getting a perfect score on a test, the second was criticism from her teachers, and the third was being expelled from school.

Although this matter was caused under Malfoy's lead, the person who made the plan was Andy.

Once Malfoy was caught, Hermione didn't believe that Malfoy would be able to keep the secret and not betray Andy till death.

"I guess they don't know yet?"

Andy guessed, "After all, no one would tell the professors about this, and professors aren't omnipotent, they can't predict everything. Besides - the plan only started yesterday."

After thinking about it, Andy added, "But I think... Professor Dumbledore should already know."

"What then?" Hermione panicked a little as she began to remember the books she had read before, imagining what arguments she should use in Andy's defence once he was caught.

Andy rubbed the little witch's head in amusement, "Don't bother, it's not like we're doing something bad, so what if someone finds out?"

"I just didn't want to be in the limelight, that's why I left it to Malfoy."

Hermione smacked Andy's hand away as she glared at him, "Don't touch my hair, it's messy enough as it is."

Andy's composure quickly put Hermione's mind at ease, but the young witch then asked another question, "But...what if Professor Dumbledore doesn't agree?"

"How could he possibly disagree? This is a petition from most of the students, even the Headmaster can't go against all the students, right?"

Andy spread his hands, "If Dumbledore is really bent on having his way, then I'll just have to have Malfoy lead the students on strike!"
