Chapter 12
When Cho Shiye arrived, she heard laughter coming inside of the room, she raised her eyebrows and opened the door. Inside was her best friend, Kang In-eun, and Kim Hae-yoon laughing casually over something.
She already expected that the two would meet sooner or later after she sent messages to Kang In-eun about her being sent to the hospital but she's confused to see them being friendly.
"What are you two talking about?" Asked Cho Shiye as they both looked at her with a smile, Kim Hae-yoon stood up and assisted Cho Shiye towards the bed. Cho Shiye didn't have any difficulty walking but she didn't refuse the gesture.
"We were talking about nonsense, that aside, how are you? What did the doctor say?" Kim Hae-yoon asked softly as she sat next to Cho Shiye after she let her rest on her bed.
"The doctor said I can be discharged in a few days if my condition stabilizes." Cho Shiye replied as she fidgeted with her finger. Noticing her anxiety, Kim Hae-yoon smiled and held her hands.
"Go on, what is it?" She asked with a kind smile as Cho Shiye took a deep breath.
"It seems like I need to… go to therapy for the follow-up check ups…" She replied in a soft hush, she was scared telling this to Kim Hae-yoon, she knew Kim Hae-yoon would never get angry at her over this but she couldn't help but be anxious.
Kim Yun-hee doesn't believe in therapy, she thinks only deranged people would need therapy. The two often have fights regarding this as Kim Yun-hee would never acknowledge the hurt she'd caused towards Cho Shiye whenever she brings it up.
Remembering those moments made her shiver but as she felt the warm hands clasping her hands tightly in a comforting manner, she calmed down and looked at Kim Hae-yoon who was smiling from ear to ear.
"I think that's a good idea and if there's anything you need, just tell me and I will do my best to help you." Kim Hae-yoon replied in a calm voice but the expression on her face showed that she's very excited.
Cho Shiye let out a laugh, releasing all the pent up emotions she's holding deep into her heart, tears ran down her eyes as she kept laughing, she felt a finger brushing it off as she looked at Kim Hae-yoon and smiled.
'Right, she's here. She'll definitely help me, she's not like her.'
Kang In-eun who was watching this scene couldn't help but cry inside. 'Am I invisible to them?' Although she felt happy that, finally, Cho Shiye would get therapy and found someone who would treat her better (forgetting the fact that she was forced to marry this person) she felt bitter seeing these two love birds.
"Ahem." She coughed as the two looked at her, Cho Shiye blushed and Kim Hae-yoon held her hand tightly as she looked at Kang In-eun.
"It seems like you guys are forgetting the fact that I'm here, do that sweet sh*ts when you're alone, for god's sake!" Hearing her complaints, the two laughed as Kang In-eun sighed.
'Well, as long as she's happy.'

The three of them chatted for quite some time with the fruits Kang In-eun had brought, Kim Hae-yoon listened tentatively at the conversation between the two as she peels and cuts apples and oranges for them to share.
Kim Hae-yoon brewed some tea and made a cup of coffee with the help of Park Cheol-seok who arrived with their necessities. They all had a good time until Kang In-eun excuses herself but before she left, she exchanged numbers with Kim Hae-yoon for them to contact each other from time to time and soon left with a wide smile.
"It looks like she likes you alot." Cho Shiye commented as Kim Hae-yoon looked at her and smiled.
"You think so?" Kim Hae-yoon asked as Cho Shiye nodded.
"She rarely gives her number and especially to people she met for the first time." Cho Shiye sipped the tea.
"I see, it's good that your friends approved of me." Kim Hae-yoon smiled cheekily as Cho Shiye snorted and put down her cup, she yawned and rested her back on the pillow.
"Are you going to sleep?" Cho Shiye nodded drowsily as Kim Hae-yoon chuckled at the cute look on her wife's face. "Here, let me help you." Kim Hae-yoon helped her balance the bed as she put a blanket over her.
"How about you? Where are you going to sleep?" Cho Shiye asked sheepishly as Kim Hae-yoon brushed her hair.
"I'll sleep here with you, dummy." Kim Hae-yoon replied that it made Cho Shiye widen her eyes and look at her in panic and confusion.
"W-what?" She asked as Kim Hae-yoon laughed and pointed at the couch.
"I'll sleep on that couch so that I can tend to you. Why? Are you expecting something else?" Kim Hae-yoon teased as Cho Shiye pushed her in embarrassment, Kim Hae-yoon fell down on her butt as she groaned an ow.
Cho Shiye looked at her terrified and in terror.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! A-are you okay? Did it hurt? I'm sorry, it's all my fault, I—" Kim Hae-yoon placed her index finger on top of Cho Shiye's lips with a smile.
"I'm okay, see? It doesn't hurt, don't worry, alright?" She reassured with a gentle smile as she stood up and showed her body to Cho Shiye, letting her examine it.
Cho Shiye breathed a sigh of relief but she's still quite anxious so Kim Hae-yoon held her hands and rubbed her thumbs against it.
"I won't get angry with you even if you did hurt me, it's okay. Everything's going to be okay, alright?" Kim Hae-yoon hugged her and then let go, "Now, go to sleep. You need proper amounts of sleep so that you'll have energy, you're still growing after all."
Cho Shiye chuckled at Kim Hae-yoon who's treating her like a child, she held Kim Hae-yoon's hands and smiled at her.
"Good night, Hae-yoon."
