Backstory

I wanted things to work out between us. I didn't want to be the one-night stand that she'd use to cool off. I wanted it to be something permanent.

I know you're hurting Lyra but I wouldn't want to be your one-night stand. If I'm going to have sex with you, it will be when you are in your right emotional state.

I knew what I was going to do. "I was going to introduce her to my mother".

"Dress up," I said as I turned to the door. "I'll be coming shortly to pick you up. There's someone I would like you to meet"

I came back to her room after some minutes to see her all dressed up. Our clothes matched each other as if we were both thinking about the same thing.

"I have a question to ask," She said as we got into the car. "Why is it that you are so fond of using cars, unlike the rest of the pack? I heard that it is a thing of pride to use our strength and speed to go anywhere we want"
