Escape of Naboo(1)

In a palace room, 12 individuals were sitting down, 4 of them were outfitted with yellow dresses and hoods. They sat on a yellow chair each leaning into one of the 4 pillars.

Between the 4 sat 8 seats, one grand closest to the window, 6 sat surrounding the grand seat with 3 on the left and 3 on the right.

However, an unusual face was situated amongst the officials. A white-haired young man or old teenager sat directly opposite to the grand seat, but in line with the other 6 seats.

Lastly, about 30 guards were outfitted with plastfiber vests, and durasteel helmet, and a pistol. Finally, an officer with unique headgear and armor stood beside the Grand Seat.

The Grand Seat had an equally grand table situated with a HoloTransmitter in the middle. On this HoloTransmitter the face of 2 Neimodians was visible.

The Neimodians were currently engaging in a conversation with the one situated at the Grand Table.

Which was, of course, Queen Padmè Nabierre of Naboo. And around her sat her Council of Advisors, Governor, and Military Commander.

And the unique guest was none other than the infamous young lord. Count Thalron Veridian.

"You will not be so pleased when you hear what I have to say, Viceroy. Your trade boycott of our planet has ended." I ladylike voice rang out.

"I was not aware of such failure." A deep and ugly voice responded.

"I have word that the chancellor's ambassadors are with you now and that you have been commanded to reach a settlement." She said.

"I know nothing of any ambassadors. You must be mistaken" The deep voice resounded again.

"Beware, Viceroy. The Federation has gone too far this time." She said with a slight fury in her voice.

"We would never do anything without the approval of the Senate. You assume too much." A calm and collected voice responded.

"We will see." She said at last before a sound came and the face of the Neimodian disappeared.

Just in time for a new face to appear, a face quite famous within the Senate.

I don't know why I even decided to go here, kinda of stupid, but it'll be fun and exciting. Unless I die.

But I probably won't, I had quite the security.

Behind me stood Robb and Jon, both situated with boot rockets. Furthermore, about 10 guards were situated outside and inside the room.

Well, I needed to be here to change and gain something from the situation at hand.

Senator Palpatine appeared on the Hologram and began talking.

"Negotiations haven't started because the ambassadors aren't there?" He asked after getting briefed by the Governor.

"How could that be true?" He asked again.

"I have assurances from the chancellor, that his ambassadors did arrive." He said before he began blurring.

"It must- handiwork- negotiate- ambassadors- nobody would-" He mumbled before his body completely disappeared.

"Senator Palpatine!" Padme exclaimed.

"What's happening!?" She exclaimed at Captain Quarsh Panaka.

He turned his face towards one of the soldiers and said.

"Check the transmission generator."

"A communications disruption can mean only one thing: invasion" Governor Sio Bibble continued. This was dire news.

"The Federation would not dare go that far." Padme said with anger.

"The Senate would revoke their trade franchise and they'd be finished." Quarsh Panaka said.

"We must continue to rely on negotiation." She said. Quarsh and Padme backing each other up.

"Negotiation? We've lost all communications," Sio Bibble said. Padme is too naïve indeed.

"And where are the chancellor's ambassadors!?" He exclaimed, he too getting angry and disappointed every second that passed.

"This is a dangerous situation, Your Highness. Our security volunteers will be no match against a battle-hardened Federation army." Quarsh said as he too realized the dire situation.

"I will not condone a course of action that will lead us to war." Padme said. Holy shit I'm getting angry.

I leaned back into my chair and put my right foot on top of my left foot, in a relaxed position.

"Truly, Naboo's choice of electing young Queen's does have backlash too." I said shocking everyone in the room. That was a direct insult.

"Watch your tone, Count Thalron. I will not have you insulting our Queen and Government." Quarsh Panaka said with anger.

However Padme leaned forward, she was truly way too mature. But too naïve in the end.

"What do you mean, Count Veridian?" She asked with narrowed eyes.

"You are way too naïve." I said.

"That is an outrageous thing to say! The Queen has led us perfectly for 5 months and helped us immensely during the now 1-month blockade." Sio Bibble said this time.

"It seems she is not the only one." I said as I stood up and walked to the large window behind her.

"Naboo, my friend. Is no longer yours. It's like playing poker without money, even if you win every single play. You will lose in the end." I said.

"Your choice of electing young Queens and Kings makes your planet and governor efficient in keeping the population happy and for Naboo to be peaceful. Teenagers and young adults often lack pride. Which is what keeps leaders from coming to a solution." I said as they all listened closely.

"But, when it comes to military might. You are truly inexperienced." I said and they didn't show it but they all agreed.

"Quarsh Panaka. Have you ever witnessed a war?" I asked and he shaked his head.

"Have you learned about war from a professional?" I asked again and he shook his head.

"What about leading men."

This time he responded.

"I have been thought to position men in defensive positions against attackers." He said proudly.

"Terrorists, civilians, or trained armed men?" I asked again.

"Terrorists and civilians." He said.

"I see, so your military commander cannot lead men. Interesting."

"If you've come here to insult my subordinates, I suggest you leave." Padme said.

"You misunderstand me, Queen Nabierre. You see, I have witnessed war, although small. I have commanded battles, and I have multiple subordinates who have led large-scale wars." And with that, she withdrew her anger.

"Your naivety has clouded your judgment." I told Padme.

"Negotiations are no longer an offer. This invasion is completely bullshit. They have no real reason to risk their entire business to blockade a planet due to taxes. This blockade in itself is 10 times more costly than what the taxes would cost in 100 years." I said and Governor Bibble began thinking.

"Additionally, you have too much faith in the Senate. I suppose you know of my father's assassination?" I asked and Padme nodded.

"I officially sued the corporation responsible for the execution. And we haven't even gotten more than 1 vote on It, which is tied. And do you wanna know how long that took?" I asked and Padme got interested.

"14 months." I said completely baffling the entire room.

Sure the blockade was a bigger deal, but 14 months to accuse a corporation of a murder with untestable evidence is completely ridiculous.

"What!? How is that possible." Padme bursted out.

"I suppose Senator Palpatine withheld this information. The Senate is corrupt. The Core Corporation Alliance has supreme power over the Senate and only 2 or more of the 4 core factions can withstand them." I said shocking them again.

"Negotiations failed, now you have to look at it as militaristic." I said and they all nodded along.

"Should we mount a defense of the palace?" Quarsh said.

"No, we should launch a counter-attack." Bibble said.

"How about we retreat to the forest and engage in warfare in our own territory?" Another Advisor said.

That would be a good choice but not enough.

"Disband your security forces." I said again completely baffling them again.

"What!? You just suggested we fight." Padme said.

"Disband them, send them home with their weapons, armor, and communications device. Remove all evidence of their existence in the security forces." I said and Quarsh caught on.

"We can engage in Guirella warfare within the city! We know the city in and out, blueprints, maps, storages, memory and so much more. We have speeders with heavy armament." Quarsh said and they all caught on.

"But what about us and the Queen? We would basically surrender ourselves." Bibble said.

"The Queen will escape off-world and make her argument to the Senate. She can ask the Judicial Forces to send aid, and set the trial off for now." I said and they nodded.

"Very well, I'll assemble our most elite men." Quarsh said.

"No." Padme shockingly said.

"I will stay here and fight for our people." She said stubbornly.

I fought my inner desire to facepalm.

"Queen Nabierre….. Can you destroy 1000 droids alone? Can you assassinate the Viceroy?" I asked and she shook her head to all of them.

"You will go to Coruscant and plead your case. The troops in the city will not aim to win. They will aim to hamper the droids and fight back when you arrive with reinforcements." I said and she began thinking.

"Can't you go? Or Governor Bibble, or Senator Palpatine?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I can't talk for your planet, you need to emphasize their pity to help you. And I, nor Bibble, nor Palpatine can do that. You are the leader." I said and she understood.

"Okay. Quarsh, take all your palace guards. Have your second in command stay here and commanding the forces." She said and I silently agreed with her. She ain't completely useless, they needed someone who knew the city to stay here and fight. And Quarsh nodded to the suggestion

And with that 25 minutes passed as they discussed finals, mainly how to keep the economy up, store food, and notify the population. That is when Quarsh came back.

The Queen cared too much about her people and therefore didn't plan her escape. But Quarsh cared about her security.

"Alright. The men are spilling up now, whats the escape plan?" He asked and Bibble responded cutely 😊

"Escape plan?"

And with that Captain Quarsh was completely flabbergasted.

"I left 30 minutes ago and you haven't discussed the Queen's escape plan?" He exclaimed and I leaned back in my chair and whispered something into Robbs ears and he ran off.

"We were too focused on the preparations." The Governor said, being disappointed in himself.

I just laid back and looked at the roof.

"And you!" Quarsh shouted as he pointed at me.

"You're a supposed genius, how could you miss this!?" He exclaimed.

"Guess it slipped my mind." I said stupidly. Nobody believed me.

That's when Robb and my 10 guards came running in. They carried a suitcase.

I was currently wearing a white cloak and a black long-sleeved shirt, my usual ceremonial clothes. However, once Robb came to me. I stood up and dropped my cloak.

I then opened the bag. My combat gear was there.

Quarsh began asking me questions but I ignored him only giving him half answers.

"Mhm."

"Maybe"

"Idk"

"It slipped my mind."

This continued for 4 minutes as my troops helped me get it on. It lacked my rifle and jetpack but I didn't need them.

"Well, I think the Jedi are alive so they'll help you. I'll take my leave now." I said and even Padme got shocked.

"You'll just leave us here in the hands of the Federation?" She asked, feeling betrayed.

"No, but if you escape then they will begin opening all doors, houses, buildings to find you. This will expose 1 security soldier, and when they find 1 they will look for more. And bam we suddenly lost 20 000 men. You have to be captured and transported, however, don't worry. We'll save you." I said as Jon shot a side window before he jumped out.

Everyone except me and my troops gasped and waited for his scream. Which didn't come.

He blasted upwards and towards the roof of the building opposite to the palace, fuel coming out of his boots.

"Rocket boots, how do you like it." I said as I started up mine and flew out of the Palace.

"I'll see you later Queen Nabierre." I said as I flew out and landed on the roof of the next building. Soon followed by 10 men.

I also saw Padme stand up and run towards a side room. Likely to switch clothes with her double.

The invasion has begun…..
