Jungkook shifted his position as he closed his eyes, uncomfortable with his position he shifted again. And this cycle went on and on until he couldn't sleep anymore, putting him in a very pissed mood.

Stupid Y/N.

"Screw this", he threw the covers off him before dashing to his bathroom. He needed a distraction right now or he might just blow up at anyone, which is never good. Bad mornings were his worst time for the year or month if you could say. Sleep is very important in his life and if anyone disturbs that, he's a ticking time bomb.

He threw a black hoodie and mask on, slipping past the security. Though it's easy to escape them when he's on leave rather than in the middle of a show. He passed the rich neighbourhood, nothing, in particular, caught his eye, same large houses with innumerable cars. Pfft, bet they won't even use half of their belongings.

He sighed in relief as he escaped the busy streets, though he got stares for having a mask on and dressing like that, no one dared to approach knowing that the Idols could sue them if things got far. He wasn't really paying any attention to where he was going until he spotted the familiar street from a few days back. And that's when his thoughts were occupied with the little blue-eyed girl he met, is she still here? Why was she here when her house was a few streets away? Who was with her? She lives in a good house; she must have a family right. Why do I need to search here? I know where her house is. Stupid me.

Maybe it was curiosity about the girl or the push of his heart, he started to walk, trying to get to the end of the street to go to the girl's path. He was just about to pass a small café in the homey street when he felt a small hand grab his wrist.

He didn't need to turn to know who it belongs to.

Found you, mystery girl.

"Are you running from people again?" an innocent question was thrown at him when he turned to meet the sparkling blue eyes that held the same intensity of curiosity he has.

"No", Jungkook laughed softly, before adding. "I was just looking for my knight in shining armour. More like an angel in shining armour", he bent down to her level as he took her hand in his, his large hand almost swallowing hers like the cortex protecting the bud of a flower.

"Oh, who is she?" another laugh erupted from his throat as he stared at the pretty girl who just huffed at him in annoyance for laughing.

"Hmm, that's not important right now young lady. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with your parents? Please don't tell me you're talking with strangers", Jungkook said the last part in concern.

"I'm not", the girl pouted at his last question making him coo internally before saying. "My Appa and his best friends work in this café since it's summer I can't go to school so I have to stay with Appa". Stay with Appa? She could just stay at home.

"You could just stay at home with your Eomma right?" the question came out before he could even think it through and he regretted it instantly when he saw the sadness in the girl's eyes.

"I don't know where my Eomma is. Appa says she's in heaven but I never went there, and she never visited us", those words shattered the blonde man's heart as he stared at the sadness swirling in those pretty eyes. F*ck he shouldn't have asked.

"Well, I'm pretty sure wherever she is she loves you so much", he said trying to cheer her up and mentally danced when the girl's eyes lit up like stars as she smiled her gummy smile. Gosh, this is just their second encounter and he already wants to protect this angel from this cruel world.

"I know, I love her too and I love Appa too. So much", to emphasize her words she stretched her hands till she couldn't anymore.

"I'm sure you do, so, what do you say? Want me to buy you cake?" Jungkook asked, they are in front of the café anyway, might as well treat this little cutie who effortlessly put smiles on his face and warmth in his heart.

"You don't need to, my Oppas treat me with cake mostly every time. Just come and enjoy for yourself, they make the best cake in the whole world!" the little girl gave a toothy grin.

"Hmm, I would love to", with that they both entered the café, the little angel excused herself to the kitchen doors, probably to meet her father he assumed.

"What can I get for you sir?" a boy, probably a high school student, came up to him and asked.

"What's the special dessert for today?" Jungkook asked, trying to keep a low profile.

"Strawberry tart, sir", the boy answered.

"Okay get me that with banana milkshake please", the boy bowed and walked off leaving Jungkook to take a notice of his surroundings. The place had a homey yet professional vibe, since it's located near the houses rather than the main market streets, he could see a lot of kids with their parents. Nice place to keep the business going, no competition to threaten. Wow, he gawked at the paintings lingering on the wall behind the counter of the cashier.

"Here's your order sir", the waiter boy came with the dessert and drink, Jungkook gave a smile to the waiter who simply walked off for other orders. Jungkook stared at the delicious looking cake in front of him, it looked like any other strawberry tart but his hungry stomach which hadn't had the delight to have a simple breakfast was craving it. Without wasting any moment, he pulls his mask down and digs into his dessert, thankful that the people decreased and he was one of the few five people inside, and lucky that his spot managed to cover most of his face from anyone who entered. He moaned as he savoured the cake, loving the way the cream melted on his tongue, the cake is so soft and spongy while the flavours overpowered his senses. Whoever was the chef who made this, he is a god sent gift.

"Do you like it?" the familiar voice of a little girl he's grown accustomed to asked in a timid voice as she sat in front of him in the free seat.

"I love it, it's delicious", Jungkook praised honestly making the young girl grin as she excitedly squealed.

"It's my Appa's speciality, he loves strawberry tarts", the girl he yet to know the name of gushed as she proudly started speaking on and on about her Appa's dishes. Jungkook being the kind soul he is listened to her every word while chucking down his breakfast.

"Well, this is all nice and all and since we've met more than once. I'm clearly no stranger, so what's your name, young lady?" Jungkook asked but as soon as the words left his mouth, a man with orange hair appeared near them.

"Sweetie you're here? Your Appa is getting worried about you. I'm so sorry about her, she's just a kid", and just like that before Jungkook could say anything the girl was dragged away, she did manage to wave back with a smile before disappearing behind the kitchen door. "But her name", Jungkook pouted but decided to complete his breakfast, since he knew the girl would be here, he knows that he would visit anytime he gets.

Finishing up he put his mask on and came up to the counter to pay the bill, the orange hair guy who dragged the little girl looked at him and smiled brightly like the sun that Jungkook thought, he was the sun.

"I'm sorry about her, she likes to wander around a lot", the man bowed.

"Wha- Oh no, it was fine. I liked spending time with her, please don't apologize", Jungkook said wide-eyed and flustered that the elder man was bowing for such a simple thing.

"Can't blame you though, everyone loves to spend time with sweetie", the man smiled again before giving him his bill, Jungkook took out his card and soon paid the bill. "You are one of the famous guys who show up on the TV right?" The question got Jungkook off guard as he stared at the man with a gaping mouth. "It's just your appearance gives that vibe", the man said explaining the reason behind his assumption.

"Yeah, I am", Jungkook scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. What if the man recognises him? Will he be in trouble?

"Don't worry about me recognising you, I barely pay attention to the people, I like the old classic music more though. I hope we didn't interrupt your privacy", the man brushed it off. "Have a nice day", he smiled brightly again. He gave him a warm feeling, and it's not easy to earn Jungkook's hospitality.

"You too", Jungkook returned the smile though he could see it and walked out. Yup, he's definitely coming again.

Y/N sat in front of the man, Seojun, it's been nearly an hour. She had to sit there in front of the man in a pretty red dress, tight and sexy, nibbling on the steak while the man went on and on about his success streak in business. To say she was uncomfortable, irritated and bored to hell would be an understatement.

Why did she agree to date this man again? Oh right, he's hot. But she swears to god if she knew this man loved to talk about business like he's married to it she wouldn't have been here in this stupid red dress that seems to capture the hungry gaze of everyone around rather than the man in front of him.

That's it, she's never dating again. She hates to admit it but her brother is true about her, she's naive when it comes to relationships but is it bad to crave someone's affection. Someone who can understand you emotionally, mentally and physically. Someone who can pepper you with love, make you feel loved.

She sighs in relief as the man stopped, cursing under his breath as he checked the time. Oh right, he has a meeting right after the date. What a life?

"Hey, um, Y/N, I have to go now. You know, the meeting", he said with a small smile.

"Oh no, it's okay. Business comes first", it's not okay you douche.

"Alright see you soon", or never, get out of my face.

Once he was out of sight, she dropped her fake smile and slumped into the chair. F*cking finally, another down. Though she was sad she turned her gaze to the food and brightened up, at least he paid for the food. With that, she digs in.

There's nothing in this world that can compare to the love of the Jeon siblings to the food.

Or maybe there is in the future.
