---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A baleful otherworldly energy swept in along with the figures from Nazerick. Albedo with her powerful and almost angelic armour gleaming in moonlight despite the day-time sunshine that proliferated even within the tent. Next was Demiurge, a man with orange and white suit neatly pressed into the cervices of his body. On his nose were a reddened shaded spectacles, rimmed in gold and faintly glowing with arcane runes. Next was Cocytus, the large floor guardian with his several arms and large katanas strapped to the sides of his massive form. Ice drifted off of his 'skin' as the very floor beneath the tent turned frigid, cracking beneath his weight.

Rimuru kept a placid look on his face as he examined the three floor guardians. Milim wasn't particularly interested, her time mostly being spent cleaning her fingernails as she lightly hummed. Ever since I had stopped doing my magic she had become disinterested in everything going on. Yuna was looking at Albedo with some level of attraction, something I was only able to perceive due to the alacrity of my senses. I wasn't personally interested in any of the floor guardians, the only one I was interested about being Ainz himself...

Mare and Aura came in next. They were both adorned in blue and red skin-tight noble clothes. Mare was in a blue dress and shirt with a white vest whilst Aura wore the red and also had a white vest. Avarice and Generosity glowed ominously in Mare's hands as similarly Albedo held Gin'nungagap, the black-silver staff humming as more of its power was activated from when I last fought her. Shalltear was the next to enter as she held a small parasol and wore a fancy looking noble dress from the Victorian Era. Her eyes gleamed a bright red and her fangs extended cutely from her petite face as her gaze met mine. She was still angry for some reason despite my kindness.

Then I felt shock as another woman walked in. Black angel wings lay folded behind her back as her armour was a scale mail of a dull silver colour. Her face looked stunningly beautiful but also eerily disgusting, as if she was sickly sweet. On her hip was a longsword that was as black as night, not light being seen coming anywhere near it. She walked forwards and stood off to the side of the golden throne, as if she was a personal guardian of Ainz. Sebas was nowhere to be seen at this moment and it made concern well up within me alongside the strongly restrained shock I felt.

I had never seen this floor guardian before, I hadn't even read about it... Glancing to Rimuru I saw him slightly shake his head, turning back to regard the Guardians. This wasn't the only strange person to come through as another one soon came through. Milim's eyes gleamed as even Veldora stopped reading his manga for a moment. A woman within bright orange hair stepped through, her height normal for a Japanese woman. Draconic scales glimmered with dangerous fire despite the lack of it in the room. Her eyes were slitted and glowed a bright blue. She looked majestic and calm, her eyes scanning Milim and Veldora in an instant before smiling delicately and nodding towards us, going to the opposite side of the angel.

'He must have hired some people...'

Or he got an Ultimate Skill to create NPCs like he could in Yggdrasil...

'That would be worrying... He could create a force at any time and they would have the same power as Floor Guardians.'

If Rimuru consumed him it could be used for our benefit?

'A lot of ifs there. They have world items that have been fully activated, they have multiple floor guardians and who knows what else they have planned as back up. Knowing Demiurge and Ainz, they will not have come without utter confidence in at least defending against us.'

Fair point, but that means that we need to have plans in place as well.

A wave of powerful death concepts and black essence ominously wafted in through the still opened tent flap. Walking the small distance between the open portal from Nazerick and the tent was a skeleton. Seven feet tall and adorned in robes of thick Onyx his eyes glowed a crimson-blood-red. Gold lined the cuffs and seams of the wizard robes that he wore as in his right hand was a weapon of significant power... The Staff of Ainz Oal Gown... It was emanating more magicules and concepts than before, the gems that were elemental in nature before splitting into more gems of differing colours. My shadow ring flared with black shadow. Said shadow ring flared with a deep, inky blackness, the darkness beginning to seep from the band, unfurling like liquid smoke across my skin. The shadows writhed and twisted, crawling over the fingers and knuckles, engulfing my hand in a creeping veil of darkness. The once-solid form of the ring seeming to dissolve, merging with the shadow as it spread, the tendrils of blackness swirling and pulsing with a sinister energy. The cold, consuming shadow wrapped around my fingers and right hand, as if alive, binding itself to the flesh and claiming it as its own. When I eventually got a look at my arm I saw a thing of beauty.

A striking piece of craftsmanship or arcana, made from a polished, dark metallic alloy that gleamed ominously and defiantly, consuming all light that touched its outer carapace emerged from the ring. The newly manifested thing covering the back of my hand and forearm, tapering into sharply defined, articulated finger sections, sharp claws of inky blackness extending just beyond my finger tips. The most distinctive feature that i saw as I looked at this was the large, blood-red gemstone embedded in the back of the hand. The gem pulsed with an eerie, internal glow, held in place by claw-like tendrils of silver and black metal that wove deeply into the design of what appeared to be a gauntlet. Small spike-like protrusions and snaking tubes of black metal squirmed all over the exterior until it solidified into chains that connected the finger extensions of the gauntlet and the arm-band section.

Behind me I could feel the shadows become darker as the Balrog growled within the inner parts of my mind, it's bestial and demonic utterances scraping along my sanity. I tapped the gem somewhat to try and calm the balrog down but soon found that the tap on the gleaming orb of crystalline structure that I called a gem took its' presence away from my mind. I felt no strengthening or decline in my powers or abilities but the sensation I got from the gauntlet was that it had matched the power of Ainz's staff and was almost competing with it. Apparently my ring was tsundere and wanted to prove that It was the only item I needed.

Ainz stepped into the tent after the small display from my ring. His presence was similar in power to Rimuru or Yuna. His form domineeringly stepped up to his throne and turned sharply, whipping his robe to the side before he sat down slowly, his eyes gleaming as he scanned across Yuna, Rimuru and Milim before stopping on my figure. Nothing, that is what i could gleam from his face and movements. People that had skin and made small gestures had tells that I could usually gleam information from, but this was impossible with the skeleton that was Ainz. Silence prevailed for a while as we simply eyed each other's powers and accoutrements. Veldora was completely uncaring for the display on the other side, his power being enough to squash Yuna, Rimuru and Ainz all at once. An ominous ring of hellish fire ascended behind Rimuru before Diablo stepped out and stood behind Rimuru in support, a butler to aid him at any moment.

Another small movement on Nazerick's side also played out as Sebas also stepped in, a small limp impairing his movements. Calmly he walked up behind Ainz's throne and much like Diablo he simply stood, his form utterly regal and eloquent. At the sides of the tent I summoned some unseen servants and created some drinks, orange juices, water, sodas... These magical constructs quickly moving past each and every person, offering the drinks.

"Please, before we begin, feel free to have some drinks."

Ainz waved off the unseen servant as Albedo, Shalltear and the Angelic woman accepted some sodas. The draconic woman also accepted but she went for a juice instead, eyeing Milim and Veldora very closely. No words were spoken but the mood did seem to brighten just a small touch at the aforementioned drinks. Small soothing winds cooled the inside of the tent as air-conditioning was implemented mystically by Ruphia who was unconcerned about using her powers in front of Ainz and his people.

"You have called us all to meeting. After killing Shalltear and harming our forces not once, not twice, but three times, you call upon us... What is the purpose of this? Are we here to play at being friends or is there something worth my time?"

Ainz's voice was utterly cold and devoid of life, his tone barely conveying his anger and annoyance. This didn't affect me, he was merely posturing to ensure that his power didn't fade and his respect was maintained. No doubt he was interested in talking with us, especially since I brought Shalltear back and Sebas, technically.

"I shall speak first since I am the one that has arranged said meeting..."

I turned my head and blinked slowly before continuing, all of their side watching me carefully as Rimuru turned his head in my direction along with Milim and Yuna. All eyes were on me, a sensation that wasn't common to me but was much better than being shot at.

"We are all reincarnators here, or some version here-there-of. I myself come from the future of a world called Earth. War consumed the world that i had come to know and I died with a bayonet in my neck."

"Rimuru died before I did, but we have appeared at similar times... Yuna also died before I had and just as Rimuru, came here at the same time. You, Ainz... Or should I call you Momonga? Are also transferred from Earth to this form you currently hold. In a game called Yggdrasil you formed a guild where you made many friends, playing as an evil faction. This guild worked very hard and eventually got hold of the Great tomb of Nazerick. Such as the game allowed you, you formed NPCS or the Guardians and various servants of Nazerick. You gave them powers and formed personalities for them based around your own interests and personal likings."

His power wafted out in the small break I took between my words, the guardians immediately tensing and leaning forwards in various manners. This was like law of their existence, of their lives, they did not want to miss this.

"Little did you and your friends know that Yggdrasil was not just a 'game', it was most likely interacting with reality itself, or even more likely, gained the interest of a God with significant power. Those NPCS or Guardians gained actual lives, your characters were like divine avatars, capable of immensely powerful feats. Now you have found yourselves here, in Tensura, this world brimming with unrelenting potential. No gods rule over it and only the 'mortals' exist in positions of power."

The Guardians turned towards Ainz and saw him not responding further, his aura staying utterly calm as a small radial pattern of emotion suppression sparkled over the skeletal limbs that were exposed.

"Now we come to why I have specifically decided to speak with you on neutral terms, hopefully becoming friendly after a time..."

"At first I thought that you were all artificial intelligences that were completely subservient to your programming by your Supreme Beings, Ainz excluded... I have since changed that opinion as I gained some esoteric knowledge and interacted with Sebas."

"We have a mutual enemy and as factions, people, in similar circumstances I was in the hopes we could band together to counter this force."

No noises were made, their eyes and bodies purely concentrated on me.

"Michael, the Eastern Empire, the army of Angels that number in the millions that are most likely to strike soon... Yuuki, an insane man that has grand visions of conquering the world and holding all the power of a God in the future. Nazerick, whilst it has secret weapons, world items and powerful forces and spells, is severely under-powered when in comparison to these forces. Yuuki himself can copy any and all Skills, Spells and Powers that he can see. Michael has access to all of the Ultimate Skills of the Angels, including his own."

I could feel Rimuru's gaze on the side of my head as Diablo also side-eyed me, his expression understanding and also excited. Yuna wasn't very confused as she had known most of this stuff, but she was a little confused about the powers of Michael. The show hadn't been completed by the time she died. Nazerick was utterly confused by the quickly shifting topic but Demiurge was on his game, his head leaning over to Ainz before they started a hushed discussion. The start of this meeting had began well but now was the time for intense debate and talks...
