Omniscience in Marvel 44

Title - Timeskips

"Don't you think you were a bit too harsh?" Gaea asked as soon as Leucadius arrived in her dimension. In front of her were many variations of box shaped holographic TV projections.

Having stayed with Leucadius for a few decades, she was bound to pick up a thing or two when it came to making her life easier. Sure she could manually know what was going on on Earth, but with these, she could decide which to pay attention to.

"Which part? Letting Abel get killed or cursing Cain for killing his brother?" Leucadius asked without even looking at her. Of course he knew that both of them were harsh but it was all for the later good.

"...Now that I think about it…I think both." Gaea said in realization. "Why did you do that?" She asked, her tone not taking a judging note but a curious one. As far as she knew, other than her sister, Leucadius was the most intelligent person in this part of the Galaxy.

Of course she also knew that his intelligence didn't always equate to wisdom, but you can't get them all, can you?

"Think of it as a social experiment." Leucadius began as he joined her at her theater. With a wave of his hand, he conjured two glasses which remained afloat as it gradually became filled with a Golden coloured wine. "Care for a drink?"

Gaea sighed and took one of the glasses before continuing staring at Leucadius. She still needed answers. "Other than Adam and Eve, no other human has fully understood that thing known as emotion." He began.

"All their lives, they've never really had a need to feel any other emotion other than joy, happiness, fulfillment and a plethora of good emotions. Hell, they've never even felt pain…physical pain. That should be attributed to their physique so in part, it is my fault."

"So you set up a scenario where no matter what, one of them would be forced to feel a negative emotion?" Gaea asked, her tone took an understanding note as she took a gulp from her glass.

"Hmm." Leucadius nodded as he continued to observe the various scenes on Gaea's TV projections. Other than the continent of Asia they were in, the other parts also had some interesting evolving Humans. Although they had no connection to him, they did have with Gaea, so they were her children.

Of course they were all still barbarians in many ways so there wasn't much to watch. However Leucadius did make a mental note to keep watch on the Europe and East Asia continent.

Why? Simply because he wanted to observe the many empires and dynasties that would emerge from these places. Not that the ones from his part of Asia weren't interesting, but those ones had a certain allure to them.

"I will have to inconvenience you for a while Mother." Leucadius suddenly said.

Gaea chuckled as she continued downing her inexhaustible glass of divine elixir as Leucadius had termed it. "You only ever call me mother when you need something from me."

Leucadius chuckled dryly but didn't deny it. "You can stay as long as you wish, Earth is your home, in many ways. Don't be like those Eternals who deserted the place simply because they've found a better place."

"Can you blame them though? It is all the Celestials' fault." Leucadius said in their defense.

"Defending them huh? Then what would you say about the Deviants? They're all slowly becoming a scourge on Earth with their mind degenerating by the day." Gaea snorted in derision.

"Degenerating?" Leucadius asked, confused at the implication of her words. Unlike the Eternals, Godly enhancement, the Deviants could be said to be demonic. And while the Eternals had abilities that would put them to shame, the Deviants had their mental capabilities.

In summary, they were all Intelligent. For them to lose the very thing that makes them who they are…It's safe to assume they'd become predators who will prey on humans in time to come.

"What's the cause of it?" Leucadius asked, seeing Gaea nod to his question.

"How would I know? The Celestial who made them probably didn't see this coming. Ziran the Tester, he calls himself. Huh." She snorted and spat in distaste.

"..." Leucadius didn't really know what to say about this and just asked. "Are there any of them in this part of the world?"

By these parts of the world, he meant the entire Continent of Asia, Middle and East included.

"Quite a lot." Was all she said but Leucadius understood.

"Then we have nothing to really worry about. Give them a few centuries, I'm sure with their pride, they won't allow themselves to fall so far that they'll become mindless beasts." Leucadius said. "I'll be excusing myself,"

Saying that, he disappeared, leaving the tipsy Gaea to herself. The divine elixir he had given Gaea was a drink he created in his spare time. It had the properties capable of granting Immortality, abilities, healing, drunkenness, death and life, depending on who was taking it.

For someone as strong as Gaea, even after downing three full glasses, all she felt was a little bit tipsy.

Timeskip.

With Cain coming of age to marry, Leucadius saw that there wasn't really any woman he could meet and sire children with. Even if the young man walked for an entire decade, he still won't find a woman.

So in his magnanimity of hearts, he abduct- ahem! He selected a woman from the far reaches of East Asia and brought to Abel.

In his defense, the woman didn't really have anyone to call family so she was the best option. And so, with that, he lost interest in Cain and his bloodline.

Now Adam was already 130 years old, however, one look at him and he'd be mistaken for a man in his mid twenties. Seeing as they were still heartbroken by the death and curse of their two sons, Leucadius decided to nudge them into having intercourse.

And while they did, he made sure Eve conceived and with that, a son was born. Seth. That was what Adam named him in remembrance of his dead son Abel.

Leucadius could swear he got goosebumps from hearing that name. The two people with that name pronunciation all turned out Evil, but he quickly shook that thought out of his mind. Seth would be a good kid.

And so, after making a precedent with Cain, Leucadius decided to just mentally nudge a few families to move westwards towards the middle eastern part of the continent.

And then, 105 years later, Seth found a woman whom he lay with and bore a son whom he named Enosh. In the long span of his 805 years of age, Enosh had more sons and daughters but they were of no consequence to Leucadius.

His eyes were set on the First Borns of each family.

Also, Adam wasn't even dead by the time Enosh died. Shocking, because he died at the age of 930. Leucadius always had a smug expression whenever he visited Gaea who only rolled her eyes while ignoring him.

To think he could create a race of people that future Earthlings could probably call immortals. 'Heh.'

Following his father's footsteps, Seth also managed to live for a whooping 912 years before kicking the bucket much to Leucadius' pride.

"I bet you none of them would live past a thousand years." Gaea, who could handle his smugness, snapped one faithful day and Leucadius grinned and said. "Oh, I know that. I didn't make them live that long."

Leucadius could swear he felt something break in Gaea after he said that but he couldn't pinpoint it.

And when Enosh was 90 years old, took a wife and gave birth to Kenan. Enosh then went on to live for an extra 815 years giving birth to Many sons and daughters before dying at the age of 905.

Kenan was barely 70 when he gave birth to a son too, Mahalalel he called him. Leucadius could swear he didn't understand why these people just decided to keep praising him with their kids' names.

"Mahalalel basically means praise or blessing to God. Are you feeling accomplished yet?" Gaea said snidely but Leucadius' facial expression didn't even flinch as he said.

"I am over 2000 years old now Gaea, such things wouldn't move me."

"Who do you think you're deceiving? I can feel the pride oozing off you."

"You must be mistaken, woman." Leucadius said and walked out with his hand behind him. Yup, after spending a few years sitting on his throne, it quickly got boring so now it took the appearance of a watch on his wrist.

"Tsk." Gaea clicked her tongue. Leucadius was one sly individual. It was as though he wouldn't ever allow himself to be caught in a disadvantageous position.

Kenan went on to live for an extra 840 years making him 910 years old when he died.

Mahalalel was barely 65 when he laid with a woman and sired a son whom he called Jared. Of course, he had various sons and daughters, but unlike his ancestors, he died early…895.

"Tsk. Serves him right. His forefathers all married towards their 80s or 90s, he and his father decided to marry at 70 and 65. How could they even hope to live long?" Leucadius couldn't help it and admonished.

"What are you trying to say now?" Gaea asked with a triumphant smile

"What else can I say? Women. That's the problem. Isn't it because he decided to get embroiled in the chaos that is women?" Leucadius asked with a snort causing Gaea to freeze.

"Leuca…what did you just say?"

"..." Leucadius muttered inaudibly before tapping his watch very quickly. As he did, he disappeared only a long gash to appear where he once stood. "Women." He sighed as he reappeared in his personal dimension.

Still, he was worried due to the age of death coming down.

Jared, as though learning from his forefathers, lived a total of 162 years before marrying and giving birth. Unsurprisingly, he lived for a sum total of 962 years.

"...." Leucadius wore a very bright smile as he swaggered inside Gaea's location. He made sure Gaea felt his presence from a mile away. As for Gaea, she just sat emotionlessly while observing human society.

"I usually hate to say this but…" Leucadius began

"Don't you dare." Gaea glared at him but Leucadius laughed it off.

"...I told you so." As soon as he said that, he disappeared again only for a gash, far greater than the previous one to appear an entire kilometer from where he stood.

"Heh, women." He said once again upon appearing in his little pocket dimension.

So Jared was the father of Enoch and Enoch, much to Leucadius' disappointment lived only to 65 before bearing a son. However, out of his entire genealogy Enoch was the only one who Leucadius could say was so close to him after Adam.

The closeness wasn't about him visiting, but Enoch believing in him and his presence. It was a sort of blind faith that whatever he did, Leucadius was there with him.

It got to the extent that Enoch could even spiritually commune with him despite how far he was. Leucadius knew this was a feature left in every Human sired from Adam's blood.

The feature ensured that they could tap into Gaea's Dimension should she allow, or tap into Leucadius should he also allow. Enoch however, didn't need to tap in to use their energies, he was able to enter in the spirits.

Leucadius felt it was a waste to let this man die and be taken to wherever Death took the dead, so when Enoch had lived for 300 more years, at the ripe old age of 365, Leucadius made a call.

{Sir?}

"Yo Aspect, how've you been?"

{...}

"Hehe. Don't sweat the small details my man. I'm sure Heaven is in good hands with you managing everything."

{...}

"Ahem. Anyways, could you send one of the Angels down here?"

{Sir…it's been more than 3000 years. And you just remembered you have a kingdom waiting on you?}

"How could that be? I've always had your best interests in heart. Why do you think I've been on Earth?"

{To recover and while away your time.}

"The first one, yes, the other…Do you look down on me that much, Aspect?"

{Unfortunately sir…I do.}

"How…heartbreaking." Leucadius said in a weeping tone.

{Establishing connection to Earth… Successful}

{Acquiring Spatial Coordinates… Failed.}

{Sir, where exactly are you?}

"Oh. Don't send the angel to me. Send it to this fellow." Leucadius said and sent Enoch's image together with his Spatial Coordinates to Aspect.

{Verifying Spatial Coordinates…Successful.}

{Proceeding to Extraction…}

"No! He's a human. Send an Angel to come collect him."

{Sir, you seem to be underestimating me a bit too much.}

"Am I?"

{Yes…You are.}

"Alright, do as you please, but make sure he safely gets there. Also, don't lump him in with the Angels. As soon as he arrives, take him to the Inner Heaven. Wouldn't want him to be tainted unnecessarily." Leucadius ordered.

{... Understood."

"Hey! Why the hesitation? I can feel you looking down on me condescendingly."

{It's but your imagination sir.}

"...Sigh. whatever. I guess it's my fault. I'll be back soon. You have my word."

{Understood Sir.}

Leucadius could swear he felt a wave of excitement from that reply just now but before he could ask, Aspect had already disconnected the call.

'Hmm.' he shrugged and went about observing Enoch's kid, Methuselah.

He was quite surprised that the fellow didn't bed any woman until he was 187 years old. "No wonder he became the oldest man to live." Leucadius said to himself as he thought of going to visit Gaea to rub it on her face.

However, he was wise enough not to do so as he felt he might actually die. Methuselah then went on to sire Lamech who lived up to 182 years of age before giving birth to Noah.

Surprisingly, Lamech died at the age of 777, and while Leucadius was by himself trying to understand why that was, he felt space fluctuate within his little pocket space.

Lo and behold, Gaea strutted in as though she owned the place, a massive smile plastered on her face and a victorious glint in her eyes. Leucadius didn't need to use his intelligence to know that she had come for payback.

He immediately tapped his watch to teleport him away, afterall God couldn't be caught losing, however, for the first time since its creation, the Motherbox's activation ...Failed.

"Fuck."
