In a room that could be described with only a word...Godly. sat four beings of pure and unadulterated Cosmic Energy. One couldn't tell just by looking as only a being of similar station could discern.
One man and three women. From an external view, one would assume they were siblings as they all had strikingly beautiful appearances. Their skins shone with Godly radiance that complemented their pure white hair.
The man, with eyes like swirling galaxies and hair that shimmered like starlight, exuded an air of regal authority. His gaze held the wisdom of eons, and his presence commanded respect from all who beheld him.
Beside him sat the three women, each one more breathtaking than the last. They emanated a sense of serenity and strength, their beauty transcending mortal comprehension.
As they say, they observed the view outside their Vessel with varying expressions which mildly amused the man.
"To think that this is all there is to it..." One of the women muttered to herself with a bit of disappointment. She had been the most eager of the three women to make this trip, and yet, it was nothing like she expected.
"It's....plain." another one of the women said without a change in her expression.
"What are you all talking about? Of course it's plain. That's why it's called the void. Tell them husband." The last woman said with a huff.
The man turned his gaze from the Nothingness of the Void and looked at the trio...His wives and began. "This will turn into a lecture, you're all aware of that, Yeah?"
"Yeah, that's the best. Get on with it."
"This is the space outside all multiverses, often referred to as the void or the abyss. It is a realm devoid of the laws of physics and the constraints of reality as we understand them. It is a place of primordial chaos, where darkness reigns supreme and the very fabric of existence is but a fragile thread."
"Hmm, I believe I speak for all of us if I say we don't fully understand." One of the women asked. This one, unlike the other two, had pitch black hair and a bubbly aura around her.
"You all are already strong enough to understand the Laws Of Existence, Yeah? Think of it as a place where those laws are Non-existent." The man replied.
"Within this vast expanse of Nothingness, there exists no up or down, no time or space as we perceive it. It is an infinite void where the echoes of Creation reverberate endlessly, giving rise to strange and enigmatic phenomena beyond Mortal comprehension." The man continued with a proud smile.
"The void outside all multiverses is not simply empty space; it is teeming with raw, unbridled energy, swirling in chaotic currents that ebb and flow like the tides of an endless ocean." Saying this, he stood up from his throne like chair and walked towards the wall of the Vessel.
"It is a realm of infinite potential and boundless possibility, where the laws of magic hold sway and reality is but a canvas upon which the imagination can run wild."
"Wait. Wait. Hold up! I thought Laws of Existence don't affect this Void... How does it now possess potential and possibilities?" Another woman, this one white haired asked.
"I was just getting to that love." The man turned and smiled at the woman.
"In this Void, many fantastical beings and entities call the void their home, existing as primordial forces of nature or eldritch horrors beyond mortal ken. Some seek to harness the power of the void for their own ends, while others simply drift aimlessly through its endless expanse, forever lost in its depths."
"For mortals, the void outside all multiverses is a place of both awe and terror, a realm where the boundaries between dream and reality blur and the very essence of existence hangs in the balance. It is a realm best approached with caution, for to delve too deeply into its mysteries is to risk madness or worse."
"Somehow, I feel like your perception of Mortality is different from what a normal person would assume." The black haired Goddess said with a chuckle.
The man laughed and turned back to the Nothingness. "Everything that dies is Mortal. True Immortality is the Lack of Mortality."
"Well, You're stuck with us, Mr. True Immortal." The woman snorted mockingly at the man.
"Whatever do you mean? You're all connected to me in more ways than one. If anyone of you die, I'll be invulnerable to Death, and in the same light, my Death will lead to your inevitable Demise."
Turning back to the woman, he smiled proudly and said. "It's that simple."
"Tch."
"Enough about that, where are we headed right now? Over to see your friend Velda?"
"Nah, Kaguya, we are on our way to visit one of the two Creator Gods I actually admire more than anything." The man answered.
"Remember when I said that this Void has people who call it home?" The man asked and they all nodded. "A majority of those people are Bodies of Energy Given Sentience or Form. With that Sentience comes a need for companionship due to their Loneliness."
"So they go out and form groups or something? Big deal."
"Nah. Not that. With that Loneliness comes comes a need to Create. It's that simple. This Void...it's a Place of Beginnings and Ends. In a way...We're both In the Beginning and In the End."
"How does that relate to the people who call here their home?" One other woman asked.
"I'm coming to that Nami. You see, I was lucky, I go yeeted out of that bastard's Universe when I touched upon his Level of Existence. At that time, I was nothing more than Energy. Pure Chakra at its Purest...It's Core...or Source in a way. I embodied a Greater form of Chakra than Otsu-Tsuki."
"Wow...So that's why you could devour him?"
"Precisely. Energy Is never created nor destroyed. It only moves from one form to the other. That's what happens in this Void. With different Awarenesses, comes different forms of Energy. What matters in the end is... Existence." The man said.
"What level of Existence one has reached determines how much strength they can exert in the Outer-World. That's why whether it's Chakra, Ki, Qi, Spiritual Energy, Mana, Magicles, Ester, Psyche, and their Divine Counterparts...they all perform the same thing albeit with different methodology and effects." The man explained.
"So... they're just names?" The black haired Goddess asked.
"Exactly, Ria. It's good to know that you're following." The man said.
"And? The people you're going to visit...who are they?" Nami asked with a slightly increased interest.
"Hmm...To describe them, I'd say...they're both two Lazy and Stupidly Naive Gods..." The man said with a bit of thought.
"Somehow, I think you're talking about yourself." Kaguya said, causing the man to frown slightly.
"I may be lazy, but I'm not as Naive and Stupid as those two. Trust me." The man said and walked back to his throne. "Lemme tell you something about these two."
Sitting down, he began. "I don't know the full story though, but I know that they both believe that Love is the greatest weapon."
"What?"
"Right? That's what I thought too. And to make matters worse, they leave all of Creation to do as they please and take the back chair...Now that I say it out loud, I feel like I'm talking about myself."
"No shit. Leaving all of creation to those kids after just creating the Cardinal World...if I didn't know you, I'd think you didn't even want to create anything and was just on a side project kind of thing." Nami said and crossed her legs.
"It's a good thing you connected us to Your Source Wall, giving us access to the Fundamental Laws. Only God knows where your Multiverse will be in a few Eras." Kaguya added.
"Hey, I'm God and I know that nothing would've happened." The man said indignantly. "Plus a good million years passed by with nothing wrong happening so..."
"So you were lucky?"
"Hey!"
The three girls laughed at the man's expression before quieting down.
"Gotten it out of your system yet?" The man asked with a snort. "Anyways, of the two Gods, one left all of creation to his kids while the other created one sentient multiverse."
"The first had his problems down the line while the second was probably in his eight Universal Reincarnation or Firmament..." The man said nonchalantly.
"That doesn't inspire any confidence at all."
"You bet. And we're going to visit one of these two?"
The man nodded and said. "We're going to visit the one who created a Sentient Universe. Dunno what stage he's at now, but we're in a place where logic is defied by imagination...so we'll probably meet him in the beginning."
".."
"What's with the stare?" The man asked as he saw the women looking at him with deadpanned faces.
"Didn't you say we're in the beginning?"
"Of course we are. The beginning of all there was, is and will be. However, I did mention that imagination and logic don't mix in here, so I'll pick a random point in time and meet him. But I'm sure my imagination will work wonders."
The man said with a knowing smile which made the women smile wryly. That smile was never a good thing. Shun was probably about to take on an impossible risk, and with such risks came the threat of Death.
Not long ago, he had just finished a World Ending Battle with Otsu-Tsuki. A battle where their universes were at risk of Total Annihilation. However, against all odds, Shun had defeated the older and more experienced God, Devouring his Universe and transforming his own Universe into a new Era.
This was a Qualitative Evolution for Shun.
His Universe had turned into a Multiverse...And with that evolution came the need for Higher Forces. And so, Conferring three of the Major to his wives, he had managed to stabilize the newly expanding Multiverse.
To Ria, he gave control of Balance. To Hanami he gave Space. To Kaguya he gave Time.
In so doing, no one would be capable of harnessing 100 percent of these three Laws.
As for fear of their rebellion...he lacked that. The reason being the fact that he possessed the one absolute Law in his Universe - Power -
His Parallel Consciousness -The Heavenly Dao - as he calls it, held his Omniscience. His Avatar Held his Omnipresence, while he held the deciding Power - Omnipotence.
So in a way, while he took the hands off approach, he kept a pretty tight leash on the Inner Workings of his World.
As for his place of visit...
- Location - Marvel Universe - The Mystery - The Outside Place.
Even while ignoring the different dimensions that make up each reality, there are many layers to the Multiverse. Starting within a single universe, going beyond will enter the Superflow, the space between universes.
Going beyond further will enter the Neutral Zone, the furthest possible point of the Multiverse, where matter and antimatter can coexist. While locations like the Neutral Zone are outside all universes, they are still contained within the Multiverse.
The Outside refers to regions completely outside the Multiverse and beyond Eternity's influence.
In the Far Shore, there is no space/time or death. In the Far Shore, nothing dies -- everything lives. Anything beyond the Far Shore is called the Mystery.
It includes Overspace, The Beyond, The White Hot Room, The Land of Couldn't-Be-Shouldn't-Be, The House of Ideas, and more, because the Mystery is infinite.
...
And currently Within one of the Many Inclusions of the Mystery, a single being stood. If one observed him at length, they would notice that he gave off a distinct aura not dissimilar to that of Shun.
But where Shun had a physical body, this being had a body made of pure and primal cosmic energy pulsating of creation itself.
This made his physical and facial appearance similar to that of a Shadow. A pure Golden Shadow.
At this moment, he had a look of intrigue as he gazed outside his home. The House of Ideas, Heaven as some would call it and the Crown of Creation. The Core of all of reality, and the birthplace of all that was, all that is, and all that yet may be.
"A Visitor..." He said as his voice trailed off. "How unexpected."
