The old man appeared surprised to hear the familiar yet long-forgotten voice. Turning around, he saw a kid with disheveled black hair standing before him.
"Young Master Orion!" He exclaimed as he saw him. "It's indeed you."
He hadn't expected that Orion would be able to pass the test. In fact, he had long lost hope that Orion would succeed due to his perceived lack of talent. But now, seeing him standing in front of him, even in a holographic version, he could see the confidence in his eyes that he hadn't seen five years ago.
"I never thought you would pass the test," Butler Rio said, looking at Orion. "It seems luck is with Young Master Orion."
Orion smiled at him, not because of his compliment but because of how ironic the last sentence he said was.
"It was indeed luck, I guess," he said, smiling. He didn't know if his death on Earth was his fortune or his misfortune.
