Carmen had initially believed Xu Feng was going to reprimand her for letting go of a golden opportunity to gain free manpower. 

Yet not only did Xu Feng not get angry, he was even supportive of her decision. 

And she could tell he meant his words and wasn't saying it to deceive her either. 

Sure, Xu Feng was a liar on occasion, but when it involved important things like this, he was stern and serious. 

Just like the time when he said he would let the Reaver Guild go as long as she wanted, he truly did it before they left for Paradise Plains. 

A slight smile appeared on her face as she chased after Xu Feng and questioned, "Are you not curious as to why I refused them?" 

"Not at all," Xu Feng coolly responded. 

"If you wish to tell me, then you will do so even if I didn't ask. There's no need to inquire like you do constantly." He added, teasing her in the process for being a questionnaire lately.
