Suddenly, the room turned even colder.

The lights flickered on and off, and curious nurses outside hurried in to see what was going on.

The wailing and shouting of the family inside the room were familiar to the young nurse. It wasn't that she lacked sympathy, but she had too much work to do, with other patients to attend to and no time for compassion.

However, when the nurse's gaze fell upon the latest imported medical device at the patient's bedside, she saw something incredible.

She was dumbstruck.

Yet, the patient's heartbeat and blood pressure were rising; signs of life were reappearing.

The nurse turned and ran out to find the doctor who had just performed resuscitation and urged him to come back quickly to continue the emergency treatment.

"Doctor Liu, Doctor Liu, the patient we just tried to resuscitate is showing signs of life again. Please come and have a look," the nurse said hastily, pulling the doctor toward the resuscitation room.
