It was almost evening when Kade took Ren back to his office. He jumped out of the spacecraft, hurrying to help Ren out.
Ren was amused by the extra attention Kade was showering him with today.
Not even Terim and Griffin, his closest people, would treat him like this. Like a fragile doll.
Ren stepped out of the craft and stood beside Kade, who was now rummaging through a small compartment on the side.
After a few moments, Kade straightened up, holding a bouquet of brightly colored flowers wrapped in mate black paper and a small, velvety blue box.
He turned to Ren with a grin, his face lighting up like a child who had just successfully pulled off a surprise.
A bashful smile filled with childish joy made Ren focus all his attention on the taller male.
"Here, for you. And, thanks for letting me take you on a date," Kade said, his grin stretching wider.
