But Caesar never took Fury seriously when it came to the vastness of the universe. S.H.I.E.L.D. seemed too insignificant in comparison.
Caesar interrupted Valina's speech, fully attentive now that Carroll had touched on the crucial point: the state vector and orbital coordinates.
Without a moment's hesitation after listening, Caesar piloted the spacecraft straight out of Earth, heading towards Dr. Laura's laboratory.
In the vast expanse of space, Caesar guided the spacecraft, gazing out at the seemingly empty void before him. He couldn't help but remark, "The technology of the Kree people is truly remarkable!"
"As the sun god, even with my basic grasp of light manipulation, I wouldn't be able to cloak a spaceship as effectively," he mused.
Within Marvel's laboratory aboard the Kree Empire cruiser, the elderly and frail Skrulls were taken aback by the sudden arrival of Caesar and Valina.
The spacecraft gifted to Caesar by the Grandmaster was a testament to the Grandmaster's extravagant taste.
They watched the unfamiliar spacecraft with apprehension, hoping it was merely passing by and not seeking them out deliberately.
Despite their awareness, the odds were stacked against them. The Skrulls knew all too well that they had countless enemies scattered across the universe.
Caesar gestured with his hand, harnessing the power of the sun to forcefully strip away the optical camouflage cloaking the Kerry Empire cruiser.
A shrill alarm blared within the Kerry cruiser, throwing the Skrulls into a frenzy of despair and confusion.
With a chuckle, Caesar eyed the imposing Kerry cruiser now revealed before him, ignited his spaceship, and soared directly into its depths.
"Seems like Laura isn't naive enough to hand over all control of the cruiser to the Scarurus," he mused aloud.
The Skrulls refrained from unleashing the cruiser's weaponry against Caesar's vessel.
Valina harbored deep-seated animosity towards Marvel, a sentiment that persisted long after her demise.
Amidst the initial chaos, the Skrulls aboard the cruiser lacked the resolve to engage in combat.
Aged and feeble, they possessed no formidable armaments,
Choosing instead to conceal themselves, biding their time for the enemy's entry before employing their Skrull abilities against them.
Caesar's divine prowess allowed him to detect the concealed Skrulls, yet he refrained from forcibly extracting and dispatching them.
He proceeded straight to the power core, intent on acquiring the Tesseract.
In comparison to the Space Gem, these frail Skrulls were unworthy of even a moment of Caesar's attention.
••••
Within the cruiser's power chamber, the Tesseract emanated a mesmerizing azure glow, supplying the cruiser with formidable energy.
This was the lifeline enabling the Skrulls' survival within the cruiser's confines.
Without hesitation, Caesar gestured, plucking the Tesseract into his grasp.
The Infinity Gems necessitated substantial power to handle or utilize directly.
However, most cosmic gems featured a specially crafted protective barrier to aid in their storage and transportation.
The Tesseract served as such a protective layer.
"It's truly magnificent!" Caesar marveled, weighing the Tesseract in his hand without applying direct pressure.
Currently attempting to harness the near-infinite power of the Space Gem.
He's confident in his strength to wield the Space Gem effectively.
However, it's not the ideal moment.
He ponders the risk of mastering the Space Gem causing significant upheaval, potentially destroying both the cruiser and the spacecraft dispatched by the Grandmaster, and inadvertently harming Varina in the process. So he opted against it.
With the gem in hand and his objective accomplished, everything seems to be proceeding smoothly.
With a happy smile, Caesar prepares to return to his spaceship, head to a planet of his choosing, establish his own forces, and then pursue Thanos!
"Just a moment, whoever you are. This cruiser belongs to the Kerry Empire. The object you're holding is of utmost importance to us. Hand over the energy core, and you can leave in peace!"
Yon Rogg, leading the Kree troops, confronts Caesar.
When Caesar forcefully penetrated the camouflage he had indirectly exposed the Kree Imperial cruiser to the attention of the Kree Empire.
"Fascinating," Caesar muses as he casually tosses the Tesseract in his hand a few times. "I didn't anticipate your arrival here ahead of Carol. However, now that the Tesseract is in my possession, why should I relinquish it to you?"
"You dare go against the commands of the Kree empire," Yon Rogg threatened.
"The might of the Kerry Empire holds little sway over me," Caesar continues dismissively.
While the Kerry Empire stands as one of the three interstellar superpowers, boasting a unique energy weapon that confers great power upon its wielder, Caesar, having attained the 4th Tier and on the verge of mastering the Space Gem, finds their authority lacking.
Even if faced with the elite interstellar forces of the Kree Empire or the Supreme Intelligence itself, Caesar will remain unfazed.
The fact that the Kree Empire has negotiated a peace treaty with Xandar is evidence that they lack the capability to crush the formidable Nova Corps.
Yet, what of the Nova Corps, renowned protectors of the Xandar star?
In the face of Thanos, they were annihilated.
That is the power of the 4th tier powerhouse s! And Caesar is now one among them.
