I reached the garden. Just at the entrance was a raised porch with tables and other such things where guests could be entertained. To the left, a hedge maze dominated the landscape. To the right was an incredible variety of flowers, and a stone monument in the distance. I headed toward the monument, and sure enough it included a hollow frame where four stone fragments of about the size I had ought to fit together inside. The fragment I held, I judged should go at the top half, so I simply set it down by the monument rather than actually placing it.
From there, I made for the hedge maze, believing it to be a giant clue for the location of a 3D maze puzzle. The normal maze, I only took about ten minutes to reach the center. In that center, floating above a display pillar, was a strange, many-sided glowing object. I focused on it, not taking as long to perceive the puzzle as before since I better understood how the puzzle would end up.
