Spin off: Leo's night out
AN: this was a spin off done by one of the fan authors, it funny so I decided to post it for him, but he didn't want to be mentioned by name, so he said to just call him 'Fan Author'
This won't affect the story, so just have a little fun with this bonus. 😘

Rochester, New York - Sometime in 1933
Mother's been gone for almost a month now and things have been all quiet. A little too quiet.
Staying with Mom and her family has been all right. My uncle's like to play with me a lot. I just can't help but to feel like something's off.
But what do I know about humans. I'm just a tortoise.
[Fan Author's Note: In the home of the Hale family a tortoise can be seen eating some lettuce.
If you just look at him you'd never know that he had thoughts equal to or even surpassing some humans. His name is Leonardo.]
Who are you? You're not our Rob!
[Author's Note: Exactly! Who're you and how did you get into this world!?]
[Fan Author's Note: Sorry about that. I was just so very interested in this little tortoise here I just had to stop by.]

[Author's Note:.....Well....alright. But just for now. You try anything funny and you just see how I take care of you
*raises slipper threateningly*]

'Well that was weird.' Leo thought to himself while finishing his lettuce.
What was he doing again?
Oh right. He had to figure out what was wrong with his mom. She'd been kind of out of it since his mother had left for the home of pizza a while back but recently it seemed she was getting worse.
Tonight was the night he'd figure out what was wrong.
Using the new moon phase he was sure it'd help him cover his tracks.
But untill then...more lettuce.

That Night, Hale household
Opening his eyes Leo could tell from everyone's aura's that they were all sound asleep.
[Author's Note: Excuse me what?]
[Fan Author's Note: Don't worry 'bout it]
[Author's Note:.....]
Seeing that the coast was clear, Leo began to walk around his area, drawing out symbols as if he were dancing and then he jumped up and landed in the center of his dance circle causing a giant smoke cloud to appear.
Good thing everyone else in the house had been asleep because if the break dancing tortoise didn't weird them out, then for sure the technicolor smoke cloud and the other tortoises appearing would have.
Especially since they were all standing on their back legs and were holding weapons.
[Author's Note: What is happening?]
[Fan Author's Note: Just let it play out. It's all good.]
[Author's Note: *Bombastic Side Eye* ]
Back to the tortoises.
"Leo!! How you been man? We haven't seen you in forever dude! Not since what? The Dimensional Pet Shop Reunion?"
Leo nodded. "Yeah. Sorry guys. It's been one of those chill partners this time. She hasn't needed me as more than a cuddle companion so far."
The biggest tortoise amongst them chuckled. "Yeah? Well that's nice and all but you wouldn't have called us all here for nothing."
A tortoise with a pair of glasses used his bo staff to adjust them further up on his face. "Don't worry guys. I brought marshmellows!" He said with a laugh while holding up a bag of said marshmellows.
"Put those away!" Leo said giving his dimensional brother a bombastic side eye.
"We can eat those later. There is an actual problem here. Master Splint from the shop sent me a warning. I'd been feeling weird things forming around my mom here recently so I asked him for help."
As soon as Leo finished saying that, a dimensional rift formed outside of the window and faceless shadows that vaguely resembled ninjas began to pile out and rush towards the house.
[Author's Note: *Spits drink* WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?!?]
[Fan Author's Note: Looks like shitty ninjas.]
[Author's Note: *Grabs Fan Author by the collar and shakes
him* That's not what I meant and you know it!!]
[Fan Author's Note: *Gah, Gah* Harder]
[Author's Note: Ew! *Raises eyebrow and let's go*]
[Fan Author's Note: *Grin* Works every time.]
[Author's Note: *Rolls eyes*]
"Donny!! Shield the house and then come join us!" Leo urged while jumping out of the window followed by his two other dimensional brothers.
"Got it Leo!" Donny replied as he made signs with his hands and slammed them down onto the floor.
Outside the remaining three brothers faced the oncoming battalion of ninjas.
"I'll take the left, Mikey you get the right, Raph, right down the middle."
""Got it!!""
"ROSALIE YOU BI-" One of the ninja's attempted to yell but was cut off by his head being cut off.
"Well that didn't sound very nice!" Raph said as he cleaned his Sai's off by shaking the blood off of them.
"HOW COULD Y-" A second ninja's words were once again ended swiftly with a broken neck as Mikey's nunchaku slapped it 180 degrees the opposite direction. "They sure are some chatty Kathy's huh?"
Leo just smiled and shook his head at his brother's antics and Donny joined them after finishing shielding the house.
The ninjas kept trying to invade the house for just over an hour before they had taken care of the last one.
"Aw. No more?" Raph said.
His three brothers looked at him with slight irritation. They may be highly trained and specialized dimensional tortoise warriors but who wanted to keep fight for over an hour?
"What? C'moooon. Just one big bad guy? A final boss?" Raph pleaded.
And as those words left his mouth all the previously dead ninjas turned into a sandy black smoke and started to coalesce.
"""Awww c'mon!!""" The other three tortoises cried out.
"YEEEEESSSSS!!!" Raph yelled while flourishing his Sais.
[Author's Note:.....You know what?....sure. *Throws up hands*]
[Fan Author's Note: *munch chips*]
The 4 tortoise brothers faced down the combined essence of the interdimensional interlopers as it became one solid sense of mass.
It was at least double the size of themselves but it didn't matter.
Leo rallied his brothers against their newest foe as they rained attacks down on it and it on them.
They weren't sure how long they had been fighting but knew it had to have been a long time for it was breaking dawn when the massive shadow ninja began to fade.
None of the tortoises heard it's death throes because 1: They didn't care and were tired and 2: They had to return to where they came from and Leo had to head back into the house before anyone woke up to find him gone.
"Thanks guys, Pizza's on me at the next meet up." Leo said quickly as he jumped back through the window and waved goodbye before turning back to his normal quadrupedal form.
"Well keep you to it dude!" Mikey said as he smoked bombed back to his home dimension.
"Acapella lil' fella!" Donny said as he too waved goodbye and smoke bombed away.
Raph just gave Leo a grin before dropping his own smoke bomb to leave.
Tired from his night's antics, Leo shut his eyes.
For all of 10 seconds before his mom's younger brothers came to wake him up and feed him.
One piece of lettuce couldn't hurt before actually going to bed right?
