Unwanted Animosity

Mrs Mia looked at her daughter as if she had swallowed a fly. She did not wish to believe that Ariana was related to the Ashford family, but something—a nagging feeling at the back of her head told her that it was the truth.

After all, if that woman was not related to the Ashford family, why would someone bother to tell her to keep that woman as suppressed as possible and at the same time threaten her to not let Ariana escape her clutches? 

This must be the reason! 

Mrs Mia's expression turned twisted when she thought of the countless possibilities that she could have taken advantage of if she had known the truth! 

"Mom," seeing the look on the face of her mother, Glynn knew that there was something sinister brewing inside that head of her mother. She advised her kindly, "I know that you are upset but don't do anything, alright? Dad will not like it either as he has many business dealings with the Ashford family."
