Chapter 78

As Javier was talking to Raymone, his gaze lifted, catching sight of Yvonne entering the room. She hesitated briefly before settling into the first chair that was there, her avoidance of eye contact not escaping Javier's notice. Despite her efforts to keep her gaze lowered, Javier couldn't help but smile softly. 

Meanwhile, Raymone looked at them, leaned in to Javier, and whispered, "You know her?" 

Javier nodded subtly, replying, "She's the mother of the child I rescued." 

"Really?" 

Javier gently nudged him away from her ear, refocusing his attention on the interviewees. 

"We're going to do a little bit of introduction," an interviewer says. "I will start; I am the director of the industrial designer's department; I direct things there, so I know you guys are applying to the position for an industrial designer; if you have been accepted, you will see me a lot."
