Chris added +1 to INT, +5 to WIS and +10 to VIT, after all, it is very important. It increases the HP of a person. With that, he was left with a total of 9 FAPs, which he decided to use in emergencies.
"Wow, only a few of these forest wolves and I am already at level 7. Usually, it would take a lot more killing to reach level 7. Let's check my spoils. Hmm, only wolf meat and furs, as usual, no fangs or something important. It doesn't matter anyway as these are cheap and I would need to go to a city if I wanted to earn a lot of gold".
This game is different from other games in many aspects. For one this wasn't a game at all, but a tutorial for what is to come and make the people of earth be prepared when the disaster comes.
In order to do so, there are many real aspects included in the game.
For example, if one chose the creator class, they had to work or won't get anything. There was also the fact that the process could fail.
There is favorability with people, reputation with nations and merits for military. Everything works as it does in the real world. There are many more aspects in which things go as they do in the real world but there are few things that go as it is a typical game.
For example, there is no butchering. When one kills a monster, they can directly loot but there is a difference here.
In games when you kill something, it would drop all kinds of items but here they won't.
Chris killed forest wolves and the drops were only what a wolf has, like its meat, fur, fangs, claws etc... They won't drop weapons or armor or coins when killed. These would only drop when you kill humanoid monsters. The loot you get depends on the species the killed belongs to and what he could possess.
So if you kill an NPC, not everyone drops weapons, coins or something fancy. It depends on who that person is. If you kill a guard, there is a chance that you get weapons or armor but you get a dirty cloth if you kill a beggar.
Of course, killing an NPC would get you jailed depending on the type of NPC you have killed, unless it was a sanctioned kill from the kingdom or empire you serve.
There are two types of NPCs. One who is multi-killable. It means that no matter how many times you kill that NPC, they will spawn again. You'll be charged with attempted murder. There are other NPCs who die once they are killed, they die permanently. Killing them, the charges would be murder.
This is something the players found the hard way. When the NPCs spawned again and again, they thought it was just like normal games but only later they found it wasn't the case.
An assassin player who belonged to the Evil Faction killed a king on the Virtuous Faction side, which ignited a war between the factions. It caused a [World Event Quest] to happen. Of course, the assassin didn't have a good time after that as once he was spotted he was killed without mercy.
Not only the NPCs killed him but also the players did too. This was because the dead king had given a [Series Quest] to a famous guild, Sky Dragons Guild. Unlike normal quests, series quests would only reward the players after every quest that was part of the series was completed.
The longer the quest was the better the rewards were. The one they got was 15 quests long and at the end of the series they would get the rewards based on their efficiency. They completed 12 of those quests but the assassin killed the king, which automatically failed the series.
The guild was beyond angered by this. They spent a lot of resources to have 100% completion for every quest they got. They went way beyond what was asked. The reward would have been something legendary or beyond that. It could have soared them through the skies but what happened was quite the opposite.
They lost favorability with the royalty, and lost reputation with the kingdom, making it difficult for them to choose quests from the kingdom. All the losses caused them to lose their guild rank.
They were only able to come back after killing the assassin multiple times. They even issued a kill notice to other players, which rewarded them if that assassin was killed by them. Only after they spent a lot of time and resources, they gained back their rank.
So this game was never a game, with only a few game elements.

Chris went deeper into the forest to look for better kills. It wouldn't be fun to kill monsters that are lower level than him. Moreover, for similar or lesser-level kills, he wouldn't get a cross-level kill bonus, which means he would the experience bonus for that.
If he didn't have the experience buff, he wouldn't be losing much but with it, he lost much more than others. It would be a waste of time to spend on killing lower-level monsters. He looked for higher-level monsters and he found something.
