Way of the Dragons

It was around first light when Tia waddled into camp, falling to her knees near the campfire. The fire crackled, barely a kindle. She winced, flopping to her back, to look at the amber sun barely half-risen across the horizon.

"That's the last time I let him do what he pleases," she complained. Her belly was still hot where he'd planted his seed, and her legs were like lead. She was even more surprised when she made it back to camp. Her clothes were torn, and her hair; she dared not imagine what her hair looked like now.

'Homeless, perhaps?'

The answer came to her when Aurelia's voice sounded, "You look as if you've just escaped captivity." she propped herself down on a stump, a bright smile on her face. "If you don't cover, you'll give everyone a feast."

Tiamat smiled as if she didn't seem to care. "How were your lessons?"
