Alora, ablaze with indignation, made her way to the prison to confront Rubin. Izaak though had asked her to stay away from Rubin. But Alora, resolute and defiant, dismissed his warnings. 

Her husband's life hung with a thin thread, a consequence of the trust he had placed in Rubin. It was Alora who had implored Magnus to meet Rubin in Shadowbrook. And it was because of her plea that Magnus had shown mercy, sparing Rubin's life.

Now, she was left grappling with the repercussions of her actions, her heart heavy with regret and anger. 

"Head Witch Gloria has extracted the magic core from Rubin. However, he isn't ready to tell the truth to any of us," Griffin informed Alora. 

She remained quiet, her eyes barely holding her tears. As she walked into the prison, where Rubin was kept as a captive, she found him being upheld in the shackles.
