"What did Chase give the cartel?" Matvey asks. "Any idea? Obviously it was good, because they sent me a note like I would know and give in to their demands." 

"No idea," Ivan shrugs, picking up the note before tossing it back. "It was probably a lie to get his family out of trouble."

"You think it is a bluff?" Matvey asks. 

"No, I think it's a lie that Chase told them. He didn't have access to any important information. We don't keep that stuff at the house." 

"They were convinced enough to send me a piece of this man," Matvey says, pointing at the note. "I cannot afford for them to have any advantages right now. We have already lost enough land. They are upset about the trafficking. It's tense right now." 

"I wouldn't worry about it," Ivan insists. "There is nothing important they can have of ours. What piece of Chase did they send anyway?"
