CHAPTER 9: PRINCESS IS ONLINE

When the stopwatch stopped counting, Zara watched with awe as the tablet screen changed and a familiar face appeared on the screen.

Zara smiled sheepishly as she admired her small face, tilting her head playfully as if she wasn't aware of the barrage that was filling the screen.

It took her great courage to show herself like that, so for a moment she just wanted to appreciate herself before she came across those hateful people that would throw bombs at her.

She was famous, and everyone knew about it. She had other people who hated her so much and hated the fact that she had stolen their fans despite not doing anything. She was fully aware of people like that, and yet she still chose to appear in public like that.

With such a family to back her up, why should she fear?

Somewhere in Dynalis, in a certain hotel room, a young woman was lying on a chaise lounge chair, her face showing impatience which quickly vanished as soon as a face appeared on the screen.

"Damn! The fifth sister still looks very pretty!" she exclaimed as she looked at the face on the screen.

Ashely sighed woefully as she looked at her younger sister, who made her feel complicated with each passing day.

In fact, if it wasn't because of the spy she left in the mansion, she wouldn't have known that her weak and sickly sister was that powerful. To even think that when she was at her lowest, it was PRINCESS who saved her and made her rise up to become someone who was recognized.

And now, she had her own studio and had a huge fan base and all of it was thanks to PRINCESS. Ashely loved PRINCESS so much that when she heard that PRINCESS would be streaming live, she took a day off and decided to just enjoy watching her goddess in person.

There was no way she was going to miss such a chance and work when she could be admiring her goddess. But who would have guessed that PRINCESS was a princess that she knew very well? No wonder why PRINCESS had the guts to name her like that.

Zara was a princess from birth and if she doesn't call herself that, who else can be called that?

It was stressful to the point that she thought of not watching the livestream but when she thought of how long she had not seen her little sister, Ashley found herself waiting and looking at the screen to check for herself whether Zara would really show herself or not.

The last time she saw Zara was five years ago and the two of them argued and one that caused her to be banned from home for three years.

At that time, she nearly thought that her little sister was a goner, but truthfully, she survived. It was a relief for her that Zara didn't die at her hands, but who would have known that the incident would cause her father to be even more ridiculous as he pampered Zara to the extremes?

Why did she have to be banished when Zara was spoiled rotten like that?

Anyway, setting aside the past, Ashely looked at her little sister and began to become teary. And her tears even streamed down very fast when she read the comments.

[OMG! How can one be so pretty?]

[She looks like a fairy!]

[Is that white hair real?]

[She looks very small and weak.]

[How old is she? She can't possibly be a minor right.]

[So, what if she is a minor? Nowadays, with the consent of your parents, even a three-year-old can be online.]

[That's true. Stop judging. Look, our goddess hasn't said anything yet.]

[Are you sure that this person is the real PRINCESS?]

[Who knows and cares?]

[I just love her!]

[She looks loaded.]

[I think that she is sick. It's so hot and yet she is wearing wool, bundled in several blankets and lying in bed.]

[Goddess, are you sick?]

[Are you okay?]

[Maybe she is dying!]

Reading all of those comments, Ashely couldn't hold it anymore. Although she was jealous of how everyone pampers Zara, when she thought of how the beautiful and sickly girl on the screen whom many were assuming to be a minor was turning twenty-three in less than three months and possibly could die before that, anguish filled her.

The fact that she was dying when they hadn't done anything yet. She had not even spent quality time with her sister, and yet she was about to die. How could that be fair?

Not only that but just look at her. What was the point of being pretty and little when she was dying?

Ashely just couldn't help it. And so were the other family members. That got news of how Zara was PRINCESS and currently streaming.

Lena watched her daughter as tears streamed down her cheeks. She clasped a hand over her mouth as she tried her best to stop herself from crying out loud. But her sobs couldn't be hidden.

Cade was nowhere to be found and at that moment, Lena wouldn't even care about anything else.

She looked at her baby, the baby that she loved very much as her blue eyes blinked curiously like an innocent child with a smile on her face as she looked at the screen.

Although she had not said anything yet, Lena could see the comments that people were sending and most of them broke her heart.

Zara got her eyes from her, but when Lena looked at Zara, her eyes looked like a lake and something about them just pulled people in.

That innocence that didn't relate to what Zara was like at all made her heart even ache more.

She didn't know her daughter very well; she concluded the more she watched.

Back in the RV, Zara was having fun as she read the comments that her fans were sending.

She wasn't hurt by what they were assuming. After all, she indeed looked like a minor. She didn't even have breasts. Her chest was as flat as it could be, and it was simply embarrassing. Thankfully, she had to wear a lot of clothes, so it was not easily noticeable.

Besides, with a body of fourteen to fifteen years old, Zara was simply free to act like a child and a child she was indeed.

When was the last time she played like a real child?

Fifteen years ago. That was the cold and hard answer everyone didn't need to know specifically. As long as she was aware, then she was okay with everything.

Seeing the view count increasing and crossing three hundred thousand in under three minutes, Zara knew that it was time for her to start.

She couldn't just stare at the viewers like a lunatic and not say a thing. That wasn't how she planned the whole thing.

So, without further ado, Zara licked her lips as she moistened them before she opened her mouth, shocking the viewers to the core.
