"Blood…ember?" Chi Weiran tilted his head to the side, unfamiliar with the new nickname.

Han Yongrui smiled softly again; a gesture that the Chi youngster was still unaccustomed to. However, he didn't deny that his mentor's gentle smile made his chest swell with glee…and his stomach to flutter with a heated sensation.

Han Yongrui was completely dashing and…handsome when he smiled.

"Your temper is as wild as the blood in you," the Grandmaster's aide began to explain the essence of his choice of nickname. "And your eyes," he said, tucking strands of the youngster's hair behind his ear, "are like fire embers…so you are the little blood ember…that warms me."

Chi Weiran still couldn't bring himself to believe that the man before him was his stoic-natured, cold-hearted and emotionless mentor he'd known over the last month and few weeks.
