"Welcome, Goshujin-sama, Ojou-sama."
Upon entering class 2-C, Eiji and Kosaki were immediately greeted by two high school girls in maid uniforms.
"Onee-chan and Kamiki-kun?!"
One of the maids was Haru. Seeing her older sister and the man she used to like coming together, she exclaimed in surprise.
"Good day, Haru." Eiji nodded in greeting.
"Business is going well."
Kosaki looked around the classroom that had been modified to resemble an original maid cafe, with many male customers accompanied by a maid at each table as conversation companions
"Haru, remain professional."
Realizing Haru's awkwardness in facing the two customers, her colleague reminded her in a low voice.
"Ah, I'm sorry, but all the tables are already full."
Haru avoided eye contact with Eiji and explained the situation.
"Eiji, over here~. You can share a table with us."
A man dressed as a monk raised his hand and waved. Beside him were two young girls. The combination of the three was striking.
"Your acquaintance, Kamiki-kun?"
From the way the other party called Eiji's first name, Kosaki suspected they were acquaintances.
"You could say that. You don't mind sitting with them, do you?" Eiji asked her.
"Um." Kosaki nodded.
"Hey, Haru, who's that handsome guy? Could he possibly be your boyfriend? No wonder you turned down the basketball Ace's confession."
The maid next to Haru teased.
"It's not like that. My relationship with Kamiki-kun isn't what you think. I don't deserve to be with him..."
Clutching the edge of her skirt while biting her lip, Haru looked downcast.
"..."
Seeing her mood sour, the maid felt she had said something wrong.
"In that case, let me serve them." She suggested.
"Thank you, Meiko, I'm fine. I'm not that weak."
Forcing a smile, Haru headed towards Eiji's table.
"Haaa... It's all this mouth's fault, I should be more careful with my choice of words from now on." The maid felt guilty.
At the table with five people, Suguru smiled at Eiji sitting across from him.
"Long time no see, Eiji. Glad to see you're in good health."
"Is it okay for you to be wandering around like this, Suguru-san? You should be aware that you're a fugitive."
"A fugitive?!"
Listening to their conversation, Kosaki shocked to hear the friendly man in front of her was a fugitive.
"What's wrong if Geto-sama is a fugitive? Is there a problem with that, huh!"
Nanako seemed amused by Kosaki's reaction and stared at her.
"Nanako, don't be rude. That's a normal reaction." Suguru patted her head to calm her emotions.
"I'm sorry." Kosaki bowed her head and sincerely apologized.
"No problem. Before we continue our conversation, you two should order food first, don't keep the maid waiting too long." Suguru smiled gently like a kind man.
"..."
Haru also listened to their conversation without interrupting. She felt she had heard extraordinary information. However, she remained calm. After all, she was not an ordinary person without knowledge of this world's secrets.
"I'll have omurice, strawberry mochi, and a latte."
Casually stating order, Eiji handed the menu to the girl next to him.
"Just iced tea for me."
Not very hungry, Kosaki only ordered a drink. She had already had lunch with her friends before meeting him.
"Your dishes will be served shortly, please wait."
After taking note of their orders, Haru went to convey them to the kitchen staff.
"Let's continue our conversation earlier." Eiji said lightly.
"Don't worry, Eiji, I'm just hanging out with Mimiko and Nanako. While we were out, we saw the school was having a cultural festival. So, we decided to come and take a look."
Suguru wasn't lying. The two girls saw how busy he was hunting Cursed Spirits, so they asked him to take a break and accompany them shopping.
In fact, he himself didn't anticipate meeting Eiji at this school cultural festival.
"So that's it." Eiji nodded without further questioning. He decided to trust his explanation.
"By the way, you haven't introduced the beautiful girl next to you. Is she your girlfriend?"
Suppressing his disgust towards the non-Jujutsu Sorcerer whom he regarded as a monkey, Suguru looked at Kosaki with curiosity.
"We're not in that kind of relationship. We're just ordinary friends. Kamiki-kun is a benefactor of our family." Kosaki denied.
"My name is Geto Suguru, nice to meet you, beautiful girl."
"I'm Onodera Kosaki, pleased to meet you."
Unlike Suguru's casual and even refusing to shake hands, Kosaki was very polite during the introduction.
"Onodera, you said Eiji is your benefactor, what has he done?"
"That..."
Not sure whether to answer or not, Kosaki looked at Eiji, asking for his opinion.
"You're annoying, Suguru-san, you're like an old man who loves gossip."
"Eh~, is that so? The more you don't want to keep it secret, the more curious I become."
"..."
Eiji just silently stared at Suguru who always smiled.
"I'm kidding, I'm just kidding. Don't take it seriously."
"Oh."
At the table, only the two men were talking, while the three girls were listening.
Nanako and Mikiko didn't dare to interrupt their conversation. Their impression of Eiji had drastically changed since their first meeting. Moreover, Eiji's achievements so far were truly impressive.
On the other hand, Kosaki felt uncomfortable participating in the conversation. Through her observations, she suspected that the man named Geto Suguru was a Jujutsu Sorcerer. Furthermore, the two young girls were also not ordinary people. As the only ordinary person at the table, she felt uneasy.
"Geto-sama, let's take a photo."
"Sure."
Then, Suguru was flanked by Nanako and Mimiko on both sides, and they started taking selfies.
"Eiji, can you help us take the picture?"
Hearing Nanako's dissatisfaction with the result, Suguru handed the phone to Eiji and asked him to be the temporary photographer.
"Alright. Don't complain if the result doesn't meet your expectations."
Accepting the phone, Eiji warned before taking the picture.
"Of course." Suguru said with a smile.
Next, Eiji took their picture without giving instructions or arranging poses.
(This is the first time I've seen Kamiki-kun being close to someone other than Gojo-san and Ijichi-san)
Watching Eiji and Suguru interact, Kosaki was surprised in her heart. She knew how apathetic Eiji was towards others. Now, seeing him being friendly with a fugitive, she felt the other party didn't seem bad at all.
A few minutes later, Haru brought the dishes and placed them on the table. Of course, there was a drawing service on the omurice as per the customer's request.
Eiji didn't care about the service. He declined Haru's offer to draw something with sauce on his omurice.
"Please enjoy."
Slightly disappointed, Haru stepped back after serving the food.
"Eiji, you should treat women more gently." Suguru felt Eiji's behavior was too rough.
"Tell that to Satoru Nii-san. Suguru-san, you haven't forgotten, right? Utahime-san always gets angry because of his words and actions?"
"Haha, you have a point. Satoru really enjoys teasing Utahime."
"Well, I'm much better than Satoru Nii-san in this aspect."
"I think you two aren't that different. Let's just forget it, my advice is useless for both of you."
Seeing Eiji's indifferent expression, Suguru gave up.
Wanting to make Eiji and Satoru behave well towards women?
That's impossible!
At least, Suguru felt it was impossible.
