Aubrey was in a foul mood and things were not going as well as he expected .

Captain Herbert before he left to go to court told Aubrey to hastily pack his belongings he was moving him from Castle Sandhurst to Castle Queensbury.

No amount of pleading would get Captain Herbert to change his mind.

He was pretty sure he left things he needed behind but he also had the feeling that some of his possessions had also been stolen by the guards.

Aubrey was feeling depressed but he couldn't let anyone see him like this at his lowest. 

He hid his depression behind a fake smile as he refused to give any of these strangers ammunition to use against him.

Before Captain Herbert left they had gotten into another heated argument.

It was over Captain Herbert moving him from Castle Sandhurst to this dump just so that he could make room for his future bride the precious Lady Kaoma.
