"Tell me then," Malacai replied as he closed his eyes, focusing his senses to feel Aurelia's touch.

Aurelia's heart fluttered with what he said; it was the first time Malacai took the initiative to ask more about her. 

She then started telling him about the many hobbies she had tried, from cooking, massage, and playing musical instruments to acting, business, and politics.

"So that's how I got an Oscar after my ten years of trying. 

Can you believe it? I tried under three different aliases. 

My mother laughed at me, saying I could just buy out the whole committee," Aurelia said with a chuckle.

But there was no response; when Aurelia checked, Malacai was already deep in sleep.
