Amanda ended her call with Isabella and said she would call again later when things were better. The woman nodded and hoped that everything would be okay for her daughter and her three grandchildren.

"Alright, take care of yourselves."

"Yeah, bye bye grandma!" said Lucas as he waved goodbye to his grandmother and ended the video call.

For a moment the loud noise was gone, leaving Amanda feeling a little relieved. She immediately nursed Arabella and Rosabelle so that they could both sleep while there was no commotion going on.

Because they were tired of crying and also startled every time they heard a loud noise. They both fell asleep immediately. Amanda laid them on the mattress in the living room. She asked Lucas not to watch television too loudly.

"It's so tiring to hear sounds like that every day," Amanda complained as she massaged the bridge of her nose.
