Just two days later, Amanda was becoming increasingly worried about her husband and their son. But she was also very worried about her mother, who sometimes refused to eat and just sat quietly looking at pictures of her husband.
"Mom, it's time for breakfast. I cooked your favorite roast chicken," Amanda coaxed while approaching Isabella who was sitting on the edge of the bed.
But Isabella was just silent without saying anything. Amanda held Isabella's hand and squeezed it gently.
"Mom, if you continue like this, Dad will be sad. He love you very much, mom. He definitely don't want to see you keep crying," she said.
"How can I not cry when I know he's not by my side, Amanda? When you all left, there was only Dominic with me. Now he's no longer here," Isabella replied.
"I understand, but... Come on, mom. If you want, you can come with us to Zondalia."
