Ch 62: Nine Lives!

At the end of the right path was a 20-foot-tall door made of a dark, metallic substance.

Valerius and Anna caught sight of it as they approached the end of the path.

"It's the door to the boss room," Anna uttered before she looked at Valerius and added, "I will open it once you're ready."

Standing close by, Valerius popped a pill in his mouth to recover his soul power to the maximum.

Right after, he said, "I am ready."

At his signal, Anna went up to the door and tried to push it open without relying on her soul power as she needed to save as much of it as possible for the upcoming battle with the dungeon guardian. 

As a result, she failed to push it open despite pushing with all her body weight. 

'I'm a failure.' Anna thought, feeling disappointed in herself just because her physical strength wasn't enough to budge the massive dark metal door.
