Chapter 499: The Way Back to the City

Shen Yuntian and his group finally returned.

At first, he thought Xu Tianci's decision to send him back to Yan City was a bit exaggerated.

Yet, when he saw how they bundled up several bags of grains with hemp rope, and then casually slung them over their shoulders, Shen Yuntian subconsciously swallowed.

Although he prided himself on his own strength, compared to their stance, he did admit he was not a match.

After four people distributed twenty bags of grain, only two boxes of herbs remained on the ground.

Shen Yuntian did not want to lose face, lifting them up with one hand each was still manageable.

They headed towards the city gate, where the ground was covered with accumulated snow. No one had tread upon it for several days, leaving a hard crust on top of the snow pile.

The five of them walked with one foot deep and the other shallow, nearly tripping over something several times and falling to the ground.
