Extra 4! Cooking with Ei!

Sibley and Akemi went to see Miko and to see if Ei was on good behaviour, but the problem is that they saw smoke coming out of her palace.

Running inside, they saw that the smoke was coming from the kitchen, "Did they burn the food?" Sibley wondered outloud with some relief, at least until she smelt the smoke, which made her lungs bleed.

When her lungs started bleeding, she started coughing, which caught the attention of Miko who was wearing a face mask to avoid ending up the same, "I'm so sorry you had to experience this." She apologized, putting a mask on Sibley.

"Oh that's better..." Sibley said in relief, but felt jealous when she realized Akemi was completely uneffected.

"What's all this smoke exactly?" Akemi asked in confusion, seeing that it was even purple.

Miko sighed at that, "That would be Ei doing what she calls cooking..." she explained, fanning the smoke away with her hand.

As that happened, Ei came out holding a plate full of a purple sludge, "It's ready~" She said in a sing song manner, not realizing the horrified look on Akemi's and Sibley's faces.

"Great..." Sibley said in fake joy, "What is it exactly?" She asked, not knowing what the sludge is supposed to be.

Ei looked surprised as she relized Sibley and Akemi were there, but answered nonetheless "It's a cake! I thought that was obvious..." She said confused, before the 'cake' sprouted spider legs and jumped out the window.

Akemi rubbed her eyes in aggravation, before turning to Sibley, who gave a nod, "We'll be teaching you how to cook." She told the Archon, "Oh, there's no nee-" Ei was reassuring, but Akemi interrupted, "We insist." The spirit stated firmly.

Cooking Lesson 1.

"Let's start with the technique." Sibley started, "Let's see how you cut the ingredients." She said, motioning for some vegetables on a cutting board.

That made Ei quickly get the idea, so she pulled out her sword imbued with Electro and sliced the vegetable, which got pulverized due to the Electro.

The sight made Sibley put her hands on her face, "The cutting is good, the Electro is the problem." Akemi pointed out, "Try without it." She instructed the Archon.

Doing as told, Ei cut the new batch, she made a mess, but it didn't pulverize, "There! It already looks much better!" Sibley pointed out, "Didn't you notice that it got completely charred earlier?" She question in newfound confusion.

"I always thought that stuff that gets cut up always looked like that, I didn't realize that it was burned..." Ei explained, prompting Akemi to float out of the room to bang her head against the wall.

Cooking Lesson 2.

Akemi prepared a pot of water on the stove while Sibley was explaining to Ei, "Listen carefully, you know water is boiling, cause it starts bubbling, got it?" She asked.

"I don't see why you're telling me this, I know how to get water to boil." Ei responded, to which Sibley looked really untrusting.

"How about you show me how you boil water?" The Divine Fury suggested, prompting Ei to grab an Electro Crystal, "STOP! STOP!" Sibley yelled, coughing a bit after, "What in the world is that for!?" she questioned.

Instead of replying, Ei went to the pot of water and put the crystal in it, causing an Electro-Charged reaction that made most of the water in the pot to evaporate, and what was left to turn purple, along with the pot.

"Yeah, I should have probably informed you that the only thing she can successfully cook with water is bottled water." Miko whispered to Sibley, causing her to let out an unintelligible noise in shock before she started crying, sobbing slightly too.

Cooking Lesson 3.

Sibley brought Ei to a clearing, where she set up a pile of wood in the shape of a campfire, "Alright, you can't possibly get this wrong, just light the fire." She instructed.

Without wasting a moment, Ei struck the pile of wood with a thunderstrike which made the wood catch on fire, but also the surrounding area, causing Sibley to just snap her own neck.

Now in the Godly Plane, Shiva Samba looked at Sibley confused, "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention, why are you here?" She questioned, "I need a break..." Sibley simply responded.

Last Cooking Lesson.

"Alright Ei, now that you've been taught how to actually cook, put it to the test, make a... Whatever you can think of." She instructed.

"I won't let you down." Ei replied as she went to the kitchen to get ready to cook.

A few mintues after, the Archon came back with a plate of roasted potatoes and boiled eggs, unseasoned and badly cut, but much better than the sludge.

Taking a fork, Sibley picked a piece of potato and egg and ate them both at once, tasting them carefully, "..." She stayed quiet to figure whether it was good or not, making Ei sweat a little in anticipation, "...You pass." Sibley stated with a nod.

Hearing that made Ei smile and cheer slightly, before going back to the kitchen to practice more, "...Was it really good?" Akemi asked her partner.

"It wasn't about making something that tasted good at this point, but just cooking with common sense..." Sibley corrected, allowing her face to scrunch up a bit now at the bland taste of what she just ate.
