Chapter 139 - A Slow Days With The Girls

The Herrscher of Void, Sirin, lamented what her life had become as of late, since being captured by the man who defeated her and put a stop to her rampage to seek revenge on humanity.

Inside her assigned room which felt and looked too luxurious in comparison to her previous home and cell room to be a prison. Not to mention, it is quite counterproductive to give her, a supposed prisoner, a lot of freedom to basically roam around as much as she wants without needing supervision.

Yet, Sirin still feels that she is a prisoner for a very simple reason. Her cuffs, chains and cell room aren't visible physically. Instead, they exist in her mind literally.

Sirin can feel her Herrscher Core and Herrscher Gems sealed away by a strange energy and method that he named 'Bakudo' which looks like magic more than anything else. However, that shouldn't be an issue with Bella by her side right?

Well, she tried to escape with Bella's help once. But no matter how they tried they would fail because apparently, her captor left another contingency behind which she was unaware. But basically, whenever they both have the intent to escape, the hallways will turn into a maze and no matter how they try to run, they will always return to her room without fail. For that reason, Sirin simply gave up escaping.

Besides, it's not like she is living in bad conditions as expected of a prisoner. No. In fact, she had been living quite luxuriously that she has to admit she put on some weight and no longer looked skinny like when she was still test subjects for the Schicksal in Babylon Lab.

"My Queen! I have returned!" Bella in her humanoid form ran into the room with a tray holding a steaming ramen cup and another can of cherry coke, looking very proud and eager to earn her praise.

Sirin looked at the food and gulped. But then she looked at her body that had turned a little flabby due to her habits for the past months.

"I… I changed my mind." Sirin said abruptly which left Bella confused.

"I apologize, My Queen. Did I do anything wrong?" Bella looks worried and anxious when thinking about Sirin's disappointment at her.

Looking at Bella who is at the verge of mental breakdown, thinking about the mistake she committed, Sirin felt sorry and received the food after making a sigh.

"No. It's not your fault, Bella. It's just… from next time onwards, start bringing me healthier foods."

"Yes! My Queen!" Bella vigorously nodded her head and then quickly went to her seat next to Sirin.

While Sirin is eating her meal, Bella replaces her to grind for premium currency for the upcoming banner next week because while she is provided with almost anything for her new lifestyle, money isn't part of it.

While eating her meal, Sirin scrolled through some forum pages of the game she played and noticed a discussion about the new record for a difficult stage clear.

Just last night, Sirin had been pulling an all nighter watching guides, reading the clear strategies and training hard as she did for the past week. She finally did manage to dethrone the previous record holder which left her looking smug just thinking about it. However, when she looked at the discussion, something wasn't right and her ranking was overtaken by someone else which instantly made her look shocked before dropping everything and investigating this player.

"Wait! It's OWL The previous record holder! She also scored a full 30 seconds ahead of my previous record! How is that even possible?" Sirin looked shocked and speechless.

When she broke OWL'S previous record. It's only half a second faster. But suddenly OWL scored a full 30 seconds faster than her.

It's painfully obvious that OWL didn't take very kindly for her to break the record. It shows that OWL never went all out on achieving those records while Sirin had to do her absolute best.

Ignoring the new 30 seconds reduction from the previous record, Sirin is determined to break this new record no matter the cost.

First, she needs to watch the recording of how OWL broke the current record and analyze it. Starting from there, she will devise a plan to break a new record.

Meanwhile on the side, Bella didn't know why her Queen suddenly looked so determined. But regardless, she is happy that her Queen didn't look sad anymore and much more cheerful.

Returning to the Orbital Fortress, Adam excused himself and let Siegfried with his now reunited wife, Kriemhild, have their time.

He has to admit, helping his bro reunite with his wife isn't easy. When he arrives at the singularity, the Kriemhild he meets isn't the normal Kriemhild he and Siegfried expect to be. Instead, she is a Servant and a Berserker.

So, inevitably, Adam and Siegfried have to fight through several battles, taking down the faction Kriemhild built around her for her revenge. Before killing Kriemhild too. But, killing is just part of the recovery process as Adam created a new body for Kriemhild using a Saber-Class Saint Graph to cure her from her obsession with revenge and finally brought them both together. Although Kriemhild still is unhappy with Siegfried's brand of heroism and vowed to make him see some senses lest he fall down the same path and sacrifice himself again. He let the two lovebirds figure those out themselves.

He made his way to find Tina and Alices since their promised play time is approaching and he would rather not be late and reduce the already small time they get to spend together.

When he arrived at Tina's room, he found her and Alices and a new addition, Nel, all sat in front of a screen except Nel who was content to simply watch and satisfy her curiosity and boredom.

Tina and Alices are focused on their screens, so Nel is the first to notice Adam making himself into the room.

"Adam!" Nel exclaimed in surprise and also joy before she leap on to Adam and lay her claim on his shoulder.

Then later the others noticed.

"Nii-san?"

"Master!" x5

While Tina only called out his name, Alices immediately piled up on him and eagerly rubbed their scent onto him which he could only sighed endearingly and shower them with headpats, ruffles and scratches. Especially scratching them under their chin. They love it for some reason just like any common pet normally does.

"It's time already?" Tina looked a little shocked before she stood up from her seat and walked over to Adam who gave her hair some ruffles which made her pout for messing with her hair.

"It is." Adam nods as it's time for Adam to accompany them according to the schedule agreed by everyone.

"So, what were you girls up to?" Adam tried to change the topic and wonder what they were up to prior to his arrival.

"It's the new MMO game inspired after TSF that is very popular on Earth." Tina answered and walked back to her PC and showed a little of gameplay to Adam who looked at it a little curiously as it's a game that is a blend of MMORPG with a mix of Sci-Fi elements from TSF.

Basically, instead of the usual fantasy RPG game with the traditional warrior, mage and rogue classes. Players play as TSF in an open world setting.

Not gonna lie, would be much more fun if they can make it fully immersed. Like make it VR or a specialized console to stimulate the cockpit.

"So… I guess you all want me to play this game with you?" Adam raised his eyebrow and asked while trying to run the game in VR directly in his head using his Crysis Suit's supercomputer as console after doing some modification to the game code to support VR experience.

Truth to be told. If Adam gets this Crysis Suit in advance, just after his reincarnation, he might just spend his days as a gamer and a shut-in for the rest of his life.

Why?

Because the Crysis suit is unarguably the best gaming setup. Aside from the near sentient level AI with an onboard supercomputer that can evolve to the level of a Quantum computer, it also is the most ergonomic place to rest literally. He can be asleep comfortably, not feeling anything while the suit moves his body on its own. It's comfortable enough inside to never feel any soreness because it's literally his second skin. Then, it also has a temperature regulator that can be adjusted to his liking. It also can generate energy on its own even without needing his Aura, so it will never run out of power. Then also the fact it's literally a crazy strong and useful alien exoskeleton that makes him invincible in worlds with average and normal power levels to the modern world.

Anyway.

"Yes!" Tina replied excitedly and explained she wanted to set a record for a stage clear challenge but she and Alices couldn't achieve it in the past few days.

"Hoh… let's see." Adam checked the dungeon and technically cheated because he also analyzed the game files.

Then, Adam formulated the best strategy to clear the stage based on the composition of Tina and Alices units.

"Here. Just follow and train based on this guide. This should help you clear the stage 30 seconds faster." Adam said as he sent the guide in a file to Tina's PC.

"Master! Master! Let's play together!"

"Sure. But I'm just starting out so I would need to play for some time before reaching your level." Adam said which caused their collective ears to flop down and look sad.

But Tina suddenly came to the rescue.

"I have a spare account that Sister Jeanne used to play with us. Nii-san can use that account for now and play with us."

"Jeanne? Did she also play this game regularly?" Adam sounded surprised at the revelation that Jeanne played this game. Also, he accepted the login details from Tina before quickly logging in.

"Not always. But whenever she had time, Sister Jeanne, Jalter and Winter liked to play with us." Tina answered.

"Hmn… I see." Adam said with a sigh as he is thankful to the three for accompanying Tina and Alices when he couldn't.

Adam does feel bad that he is always too busy to spend time with them. But that wouldn't be for long. After he is done with this world. He will stop traveling to the next world. He wanted to return to the RWBY world and settle down and spend time with people that he cared about instead of keep running around like headless chicken dealing with trouble left and right.

After all, he is strong enough to protect himself and everyone if any of those Outer Gods dare to find trouble with him.

"Come on, Nii-san! What are you looking in daze for?" Tina shook Adam's body a little when he suddenly didn't reply to her questions anymore.

"Ah! Sorry." He apologized before seeing what Tina was trying to do. "No need to prepare a PC for me. I have another console." Adam said before his character suddenly appeared and surprised Tina and Alices because he is just sitting on a chair with nothing that can be used as a console which left them confused.

Then Adam explained how he could play it directly into his brain before they join the stage for a party raid to break the record for the fastest clear which they got in less than an hour. But they spend the rest of the day playing until an angry Jeanna storms into the room like a SWAT team raid because they missed not just lunch but also dinner to play games. One thing Jeanne hated the most is wasting food. So, imagine the earful of scolding all of them are going to get and the ban from playing games for the rest of the week.
