Chapter 3: Family Discussion

3rd POV

As soon as Rahakki started to dose off Vanelena moved to her husband. They are going to have a serious discussion regarding Rahakki's future. They found out the condition of his body 6 months ago and They have not come to a certain decision regarding how to proceed.

Today all of them got a shock when he started walking. 

Because as per the Ajuka Beelzebub, he will able to move his body entirely after 8-10 months of his birth and it is hard to say if he will survive 2 years. It was due to his bloodline crashing down in the negative side. The Luck is going on the opposite side and destruction is starting to affect his demonic energy. It is turning his demonic energy into something volatile according to his hypothesis. 

"Sirzechs, is Ajuka completely sure that there is something wrong with Rahakki's bloodline?". Vanalena asked her son seriously. You cannot see an ounce of smile that she showed earlier. It was like seeing two different persons. 

But they are not fazed by this. They all know about her, so they did not act any differently.

"It is his hypothesis. As from the sample demonic energy that he took from Rahakki, he was able to deduce that it stared corroding the surrounding demonic energy. It even started corroding Ajuka's demonic energy. If not for he immediately expelled it, as per him, he would have crippled. It might take few centuries but the end result is that he will be crippled unable to use his demonic energy", Sirzechs said with great seriousness. You can now see Sirzechs Lucifer, the strongest devil in the underworld. There no earlier goofiness present in his face.

"But he is here talking, laughing and walking energetically. There is no sign of his health declining. As for his demonic energy, there is no sign of corruption", Zeoticus stated with the demeanor as the Clan head of Gremory.

"Maybe we can take Rahakki-sama for an inspection with Beelzebub-sama again. Maybe his condition improved and his body is getting healthier", Grayfia pitched in her argument. Which all are considering at this point. 

"Maybe you are right. It just might be. Let's take Rahakki to Ajuka. Let him do a thorough testing again", Vanelena declared. She looked towards her husband who nodded at her.

But Sirzechs was making a difficult face at the moment. And all three looked at him in an inquiring gaze. He sighed and said, "Ajuka is currently occupied with a research request from the Council. The Great King faction found out a Relic of the past and they wanted it to be thoroughly examined. He very much wanted to come immediately when you last said that Rahakki is crawling, but he was unable to do so as he is in middle of developing a device to examine the relic. He said he might be able to free up half-an-hour to one hour. But that is the best he can do right now".

After he finished there was pregnant pause. Because they all know when Rahakki was examined last time, it took about 18 hours to complete the tests. And that was just the test regarding the demonic energy. It they wanted a complete examination; it might take up to 7 days to a month to complete them.

 "When will he be free?" Zeoticus asked.

"Don't know. From what he told me it might take upto 7 months to a year. May be even 2-3 years. You know him. He will not abandon a project to jump to next one. From what he told me, he is unable to free up any time as he has to monitor the relic constantly with his Kankura Formula", Sirzechs said in resignation.

"In that case, let us wait form him to finish what he is doing. Rahakki is not having any problems at this time and he not affecting anyone nearby, so let's wait for Ajuka to be free. If something pops up, we can always call him. It's not like he will ignore his best friend's plea", Zeoticus said after few minutes of pondering.

Everyone agreed after thinking for a moment. But suddenly Grayfia asked what they all had forgotten. "So, are we going to announce that Gremory household welcoming a new child?"

This was met with an immediate silence from everyone. They forgot that they have not announced that there is a new addition to the family to the underworld. All got into thinking for the best possible outcomes.

"We can hold off the announcement for now as we are still unclear of Rahakki's condition. We are still not clear on the bloodline he pocesses. So, we will keep him a secret. We can always inform them in the later date. We can say that his reserves are too big and he was born with a fragile body, so he was kept in isolation." Vanelena said suddenly. Everyone was stunned but after thinking it was plausible. Here we can see why Vanalena was called the Demon Manipulator of the Underworld.

"Yes! We can do that. And if the Counsil asks, we can always ask Ajuka to provide them with the results. Everything is else is the same except the energy corrosion. We just have to ask him to remove that part." Sirzechs pitched in with great enthusiasm. 

Everybody was okay with the plan and started to get comfortable. They stated talking about random matters. And suddenly as if they have missed something, Grayfia interrupted their talks with a Question,

"What if Rahakki-sama did not awaken any bloodline? What should we do?"

This got the whole room tense and made them ponder. Suddenly Zoeticus said, "Let's assign a caretaker and take him to south territory. Have him grow up there."

This made the whole room freeze. They all know the south territory is not a good place. This is where, for the better words, the branch clan stay. The crude truth is that this is the territory of the abandoned clan members. 

After the devil civil war there are few radicals present in every clan. So, it was decided jointly that they will be captured and moved to the dangerous or unwanted section in each clan territory. This section is present in every clan and they being the Gremorys, the radicals and outcasts were moved to unwanted section rather that dangerous section. 

This completely made the other three members speechless. But after thinking they agreed. Vanelena was hesitating was about to say something to her husband. But she stooped herself and started to consider the option. After a few minutes she too agreed with the face of a manipulator.

You see, after the devil war, Gremory clan started to change their attitude towards their subjects in their territory gradually. There are quite a few years before the completely change and they did not know what they have done until it is too late. 

Right then Vanelena started to make plans, "Incase if Rahakki awakened his bloodline later we can always say that we shifted him there for his own protection.". She started to make plans incase if something goes wrong. She will come to regret this sentence in the future with all her being.

The Gremorys are one of the 72 pillars and they still have some of the influence that was left from the old devil faction. What can we say, Devils are cruel, selfish, greedy and merciless by nature. They started to change but that des not mean the instincts goes down. Every devil is influenced by one of the 7 sins Pride, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony or Sloth. Here we can see Pride, greed and Sloth in action. 

Unable to accept that their offspring is born without their prided bloodline.

Not willing to take action to change the outcome.

Wanted to have a talent, even if the cast it out themselves.

"Good thinking. But let's not jump to conclusion. All said and done, he is still your second son and my brother." Sirzechs said to ease the mood.

Everybody zoomed in on him. And he understood what they are implying. So, he said, "Come on! Don't look at me like that. Even you cast him out as the clan head, I cannot interfere as I'm the current Satan".

Zeoticus zoomed in on him. After few moments he relaxed and stated, "That better be the case".

After that everything was discussed and finalized. They started to leave for the night. Only Vanelena and Zeoticus was left. 

She turned to her husband and asked "Are we doing the right thing?"

She was worried something bad would happen if the things go as they discussed. But she was unable to bring out a good solution for the situation.

Zeoticus thought for a moment and said, "Right or wrong only time will tell. Let us just hope everything goes in the right direction".

At that time, Vanelena got a bad feeling that she will lose something. But she unable to determine what. But she just pushed it back of her mind. And she asked her husband, "So do I have to be in seclusion till Ajuka gets freed?"

"Yes, that might be for the best. You can have a great impact during his growing years. If something happens and we have to send him away and get him back, it will help a lot". Zeoticus said.

"Okay, if you think it is for the best. But will there be any problem incase if we do not release that we had a second son?" Vaneleana Questioned. "I mean, if only the family knows we can erase any records of the news but Ajuka also know this." 

"Do not worry. Everyone has their own closet full of skeletons. Same for Ajuka. He has 3 of his own offspring in his abandoned territory." Zeoticus stated and Vanelena got shocked by this revelation. "Why do you think he has not married yet? All his offsprings did not satisfy him. So, he will understand our situation."

This put her mind at ease.

"So, are you staying or leaving?" Vanelena asked with a smile.

And Zeoticus replied with a kiss and they let the sin of Lust handle their action.
