Chapter 77: Stunning Feeling

Sister Leng announced there was a party today, so the working hours ended earlier. She asked everyone to tidy up and prepare for a little fun that evening - her treat.

Everyone was thrilled at her generosity, but Gu Fan wanted to go home. He'd already put in a lot of hours at work and had an urgent need to cram for an upcoming study, otherwise he'd fail his course.

Sister Leng frowned unhappily, and frankly said, "Missing a day won't make a difference. We don't party every day. Everyone needs to be there; we can't have anyone missing out on the fun. Please, Gu Fan, don't dampen everyone's spirits."

Gu Fan knew her point was valid, so he nodded in agreement, thinking in his heart that missing one day of study wouldn't change much.

So, with a cheer, everyone dashed off to the KTV, each person singing their heart out. Of course, there were some off-tune howlers, but who cared? As long as everyone was having a good time.
