Chapter 425: The Outsider

Across from her, Tim Morrison asked with a beaming smile, "Hey, did I interrupt something?"

"No." Amanda Smith's face instantly flushed a deep red. Samuel Johnson, whom she pushed aside, glared at Tim Morrison fiercely, as if he wished he could bite a chunk out of him!

He never showed up when he was supposed to, and yet here he was, at the worst possible time! What use was such a friend!

Tim Morrison had successfully stirred up trouble and was in high spirits, oblivious to Samuel's glare, which was as ferocious as that of a wolf. He sauntered over and slung an arm around Amanda, only to be smacked away by Samuel. He watched, eyes wide, as Samuel pulled Amanda back into his arms, looking as menacing as if Tim had stolen his girlfriend.

It was absurd, all he had wanted was to exchange a few words with Amanda.

With that jealous husband around, he couldn't even get close to her.
