After Davi's bath, Sienna tucked him into bed and hummed him a song to help him sleep.
She stayed by his side until she noticed his calm breathing. The young boy fell asleep easily, and Sienna smiled a bit. He must have been tired from socializing with those spoiled children, she thought.
She kissed the boy's temple before quietly sliding out of bed, careful not to wake him. She pulled the blanket up to his chest before she walked out of the room.
Stepping out and closing the door behind her, she felt her heart jump in surprise when she noticed the vampire leaning against the wall beside the door.
Lemiel had a cigar between his lips and a lighter in his hand, but he had yet to light the cigar.
His eyes shifted to her, narrowing slightly at the sight of his startled little witch. The sound of her nervous heart was music to his ears.
"Master Lemiel," Sienna offered the vampire a slight bow.
Lemiel took the cigar between his fingers.
