Volume 6 Chapter 6

The central part of the island was devastated. satori was no slouch when it comes to firing highly destructive attacks. yamato and dodai were trying their best to restrain it. but he was dodging there all attacks. predicting future from your opponents killing in tent is really something else. i tried my best to suppress my intent but without it attacking him was barely possible. not to mention he wasn't letting me go for a moment. i need to study him in order to create an effective seal. sure gluttony will work. but he is damn fast. and his reaction speed to someone killing intent is really handy when it comes to dodging our attacks. even with confusing him by switching places again and again every time he was able to dodge my attacks. my shambles was the fastest when it comes to confusing my enemies and distracting them. due to its instantaneous speed it's nearly impossible to dodge my attacks.

but due to his future prediction ability he was able to dodge my every attack except for the first one where he was caught off-guard by the range of ichimonji.

my natural reserves were getting low and i have used re: seal for about 12 times. this was getting worse at every passing moments. i don't want to reveal my cards in front of ninjas from other village. but i don't have much choice here. although i doubt, they would be able to figure out my tricks and techniques but it is good to be cautious.

satori was a far greater threat than i imagined. he broke out from my interlocking seal easily. it was very hard to catch him. the five shinobi were fighting it continuously while i prepared for the sealing. but my first effort failed. so as my second and third efforts.

but i knew the reason for that. or at least i have a theory for that. satori had already occupied a body. because his host was still alive, it would be impossible to seal him in another object by normal methods.

so we fought it for seven hours continuously.

dodai and kurenai were unconscious due to chakra exhaustion.

yamato and samui were barely standing.

i had a plan but i needed them to leave. and this plan won't work without a certain someone's help.

" yugito !, yamato !*pant*pant* leave with them. the creature is after me. i will hold him off."

i said to the blonde woman.

"no way ! we can't leave you !" yamato protested.

"that was an order yamato ! now go !"

after telling them to go away, i bit down my thumb and went through the hand signs for summoning jutsu.

with a large cloud of smoke, a large white spider appeared under me.

i turned to them once again .

"now go ! stop wasting time !"

yugito reluctantly walked to her comrades. yamato lifted off kurenai. and they quickly sunshined away.

satori did not pursue them. so my guess was correct. someone released him solely on the purpose of killing me.

i didn't need to speak as giriori started attacking him and i concentrated to enter my mindscape.

I walked in a garden. It was full of different types of plants. Except the sky was a dark shade I didn't knew that my mindscape has changed. But then again, I have only came to this place once. Every time I talked with Hachibi, it was directly in my mind without entering my mindscape.

As I walked deeper, the garden slowly turned to woods. Until I finally came infront of the cage of the Hachibi

"Gyuki..."

"Tenten..."

"I need your help.... I don't know how Biju chakra works, but I can convert it to my own reserves so will you lend me your chakra..."

" I will... But we will talk about the 'plot' after this." To his serious attitude I noded. I had told him about my previous life and the Naruto plot. Ever since then we haven't talked with each other.

According to Naruto Kurama took it pretty hard. So I gave Gyuki sometime to think about it.

I loose the seal a little. And then applied gluttony to absorb his leaking chakra. If none of my methods work then I have to use gluttony on Satori.

It will be hard but I will brute force it, if necessary.

As I returned from my mindscape, I both Giriori and satori were in a stalemate.

"Thank you for your assistance Giriori !I will take over from now!"

With my confirmation Giriori unsummoned herself.

With Giriori gone, Satori again focused on me. But this time I have a plan.

"Domain creation"

The dark barrier surrounded us. I instantly teleported myself near Satori and continued my attack.

With Gyuki constantly supplying me with chakra I didn't have to worry about maintaining my domain. So I didn't hold back and launched devastating attacks one after another. Satori might be able to predict future, but he can't dodge all of them when they were fired at him constantly with my speed.

It would have been much easier, if Naruto was present here. With his chakra chains, it would be pretty easy for him to restrain Satori.

But beggars can't be choosers.

So I continude my attacks until satori is down permanently. I knew killing him would be impossible but at least if I able to put him down for a while then I can create something to seal him or restrain him.

I knew that it would endanger the island but I had no choice. I lifted up the limiter on Ichimonji. And started charging it up with my chakra. It took me 5 more minutes of continuous teleportations till I found an opening. The entire Island shook in a earthquake. The volcano erupted due to the tectonic movements in that area.

But I didn't have the time to care about it. I instantly deployed the pyramid seal. And as soon as satori was restrained, I started absorbing him with gluttony.

But something unexpected happened. Gluttony was unable to convert Gyuki's chakra at the same time when I started absorbing Satori.

At first I thought that something malfunctioned in the seal but that wasn't the case. Satori had an odd type of chakra. It was destructive but unlike Biju chakra gluttony wasn't able to convert it to my chakra. And somehow it was affecting Gyuki's chakra as well.

The most unusual thing was after a few minutes of struggle when my mental fortitude was at it's limit, suddenly satori's will vanished. It's like he became a mindless monster. And to my surprise it was absorbed within a second in the very next moment. But the main problem was it occupied my hyperspace. I wasn't able to convert him to my energy. I don't know how it will affect me. But I have to study it thoroughly.

I panted heavily as I saw my surrounding. The Lava from the volcano was almost near the barrier. Many giant creatures were running wildly. It was the hardest fight in my entire life.

But I didn't have time to rest. I switched place with a marker I left with Yamato to escape the lava.
