Ask For Favor (Part 2)

"Is Yannis causing trouble for you?" Amalia asked.

Samuel hastily shook his head, hesitating, "No, it's just that I might need to go to seclusion for a while."

"Hmm?"

"Carlos might need your help for a bit."

"He mentioned that. I promised you. Are you sure everything's fine?" Amalia noticed that he seemed spiritually fatigued, as if his cultivation had weakened.

Samuel insisted that everything was fine, so Amalia refrained from pressing further. If he wasn't talking about it, it probably wasn't an insurmountable problem.

Martin's company wasn't far from home; so, he arrived first before Amalia.

"Ms. Vanquez, please come in, and have a seat," Martin personally greeted her with a smile and led her to the living room.

Amalia accepted the invitation and took out the artifact before sitting down.

Martin received the artifact and promptly called for his second son.
