As he was thinking, Eun-Hyeok arrived in front of him. He was slightly hesitant looking at Hiroki, whether to ask or not.
"Emm, what?" asked Hiroki looking at him with tired eyes. After half an hour of thinking, he didn't come up with an idea to find one. Finding someone in an apocalyptic world is tough.
"Can you help us?" asked Eun-Hyeok with a hesitant face and slightly embarrassed face. He was really embarrassed to ask for help, but he had no other choice because communication was not working. He doesn't know what is going on outside and he can only ask for Hiroki's help in such a situation.
"Help? In what way?" asked Hiroki with a confused face. If he wanted to help him collect resources and other things he would decline. He is not an errand boy. The only thing he will help others with is fighting against monsters which helps complete his mission. He can also farm points by killing monsters.
"Can you help us deal with monsters?" asked Eun-Hyeok with some hesitation. He knew it was shameless to ask Hiroki to deal with monsters, but he didn't have a choice except for Hiroki. No one here can deal with monsters. So he could only ask Hiroki for help.
"I can, I also don't have anything to do so I will help you for the time being."
"So you don't need to worry, I can help with dealing with monsters " said Hiroki with a calm face. Even if Eun-Hyeok didn't ask he would kill the monsters to complete the task. Until he finds one he will stay here.
Hearing Hiroki's words, Eun-Hyeok breathed a sigh of relief. He was worried that Hiroki would refuse. Now he doesn't have to worry about that anymore with a strongman like Hiroki who seems to have powers and is different from normal humans. He needed such individual help right now.
"Thank you," said Eun-Hyeok
"There is no need to thank me."
"The others should thank you for having you in such a situation " said Hiroki looking at the people who were fighting.
"Here you are thinking about the future, but they are arguing about something meaningless," said Hiroki with disdain looking at the residents who were fighting. These people really had no brain what they were going to do after going to their rooms, wait until they die of hunger?
The residents are already fighting about going upside down and going to their homes.
"Let's all go home. What are we doing sitting here?"
"Won't the rescue squad come?"
"Do you not see this? We're all screwed?"
"Wait. We need to block the entrance first. Let's wait and we can see--"
"You can block, or wait. Do whatever you want. Alright? You punk!"
"You punks! Where do you think you're running away to? You selfish cowards!" said Seok-Hyeon holding the stick and trying to threaten others.
"You're just worried about your shop."
"I can't believe you just said that. Byeong-il. Come here now. Do you all want to get killed or what? Come here. Now!"
"He's right. If we open the entrance, we'll all be dead."
Seeing this Hiroki just shook his head.
"Good luck Eun-Hyeok, you need it to convince these people to act as one," said Hiroki as he stood up and patted Eun-Hyeok's shoulder with pity in his eyes.
Eun-Hyeok had a headache seeing this, as others were arguing the handle of the door moved. Now he really wanted to leave and didn't want to take care of these guys but again he shook his head and removed those thoughts, as he can't survive alone without everyone's help.
As everyone was arguing, the handle of the door moved which attracted all the residents' attention, and they immediately stopped talking and looked at the door. Then the handle again moved.
Seeing this others were instantly moved away from the door.
"Hey, do you think a monster is trying to open the door?"
"Run, monsters are coming!"
"Seok-Hyeon, do something."
The door opened and a man walked out. The man had a burned scar mark on his right cheek and he looked like a typical thug.
The man walked out of the door saw the entrance was closed and looked around the people.
"Hey is that a bite mark ? " asked Seok-Hyeon looking at the wound on the man's back
"Hey Byeong-Il, go check."
"Why me?"
"Just go," said Seok-Hyeon as he pushed Byeong-Il
"Okay don't push me," said Byeong-Il as he slowed and moved towards the man and saw the wound was a bite mark.
"It's a bite mark" shouted Byeong-Il
Everyone backed away when they heard this.
"Heh, these people "
"Monster bites don't turn them into monsters."
"Hey, all of you you don't need to be afraid this man won't turn " shouted Hiroki looking at these people.
"How can we believe you? " shouted Seok-Hyeon looking at Hiroki resentfully. He really didn't like Hiroki but he couldn't do anything so he could only shout like a defeated dog.
