Ryo smiled as he tried his best to win over the Nara kid who was too lazy to respond to him

"Dont disturb me!"

Ryo stopped disturbing him once he spoke so as not to seem to needy, it was okay. He knew that his previous actions had alienated him from other people by a large margin

As long as i start performing better, i am sure i will get the attention of many people, it wont be too hard to become famous then, and famous people get many friends, at least thats what i think

Though i have to make sure not to make unnecessary friends

The reason Ryo was so eager to make friends was becazue of two things, One, he wanted to see if his ratings increased because of some actions, and the second was to build connections

A person that had no connections often had a very difficult life ahead of him, and Ryo had experienced it first hand

"Alright students! Since you all are seniors of the Ninja academy, and are exceptional ninja of the hidden leaf, i am sure that you all blah blah blah blah….

And so it's important that you all understand the meaning of teamwork, i am eatablishing a teamwork excercise for you all"

As expected of my teacher, thanks for lending me such an opputunity, with this i am sure to make some much needed connections

Ryo thought excitedly as he remembered his teacher believed more in practical knowledge and combat then boring classes,not to mention this was a time of war, the war had ended and peace seemed to be restored, but everyone knew that another War was inevitable

"Everyone in the training ground!"

The teacher yelled and left

Ryo eyed the group of clan ninja making their way, including his favorite Nara friend who didnt like him

Ryo turned his head around only to notice the Nara had left

How could he leave me! My best friend

It was evident that he was just trying to stay away from Ryo, who had transformed from a no ambition lazy kid to an energetic , chatterbox kid

The Nara kid wanted nothing to do with Ryo and so had took the time that he was distracted to run away

"Sigh, lets just go and make new friends"

"Alright kids, make a team of three and we will hold mock battles,i believe all of you must have learned some ninjutsu over the years, you can use it as long as you dont heavily injure your classmates,GO!"

Ryo started looking around and noticed the group of Asuma, Kurenai, Anko and unsurprisingly the Nara kid from before,he also noticed Iruka, a ninja that will be a mentor and father figure to Naruto in the coming time

I need to make a good impression on them, the Nara kid alrwady knows me. But everyone knows me as someone who doesnt have much talent, but i am still better then a few civilian ninja who dont even have mastered the three basic ninjutsu to graduate

I also have mastered the theoretical topics which should give me an edge

Aftwr mentally preparing himself, Ryo finally got the guts to introduce himself

"Hey!"

Asuma and the others also noticed the presence of Ryo and greeted him,they had an impression of Ryo

As someone that was able to associate with Nara Kirimaru, it was safe to say that they knew about him

Having known him for over a long time, being a member of the kurama clan made him stand out from the Civilian shinobi students

"Hi! Are you looking to team up!?"

Anko who was talking with kurenai also noticed him and greeted with excitement

Ryo also recalled the info he had on her

From what i remember, she gets sorted into Orochimaru disciple and love Dango….i know nothing else about her

"Uh-Yes!" Ryo replied instantly

"No worries, we were also looking for someone,You can join Kirimaru and iruka" Anko said as she pointed at the two

Iruka smiled as he greeted Ryo,"hi! Nice to meet you, we havent really talked much despite being in the same grade"

"Yeah i guess, never really had the time to do much, i am always so tired because of my physical health, though dont worry, i am not completely useless "

"Its ok, i am not that good either, And Kirimaru just wants to be done and go to sleep,haha!"

Ryo really hit it off with Iruka, so much that he even forgot about talking to Asuma,Kurenai and Anko

Its alright! I will do that in the future

Ryo didnt have enough time to even think as he was called over by his teammates to register their teams to sensei

Once the instructor was clear that everyone had made their own teams, he started to call out two teams each to compete
