The night sky of Santa Freya is sparkling with lights, and the streets are filled with people and excitement. The academy has started its yearly festival, and everyone on the island joins in the fun.
The students of St. Freya can forget about their hectic classes for a while. They are not the Valkyries who have to fight against the Honkai Impact anymore, but just normal girls who want to enjoy themselves.
They laugh and chat with each other, and gaze at the delicious food on the street stalls with curiosity.
Luo Mo's promise to Luna also unfolded here.
"Human, I want to eat that!" Luna says, pointing at a snack. She is wearing a new outfit, a gauze dress that matches her game character. She holds Luo Mo's hand tightly, and walks with him.
She looks around with wonder, and smells the sweet aroma of the food. She doesn't care about anything else.
She is happy that the system has cured her of the Honkai Beast infection, and that she can eat normal food now. She feels like she is living in a dream.
She dragged Luo Mo to the ice cream stand, and reached out her hand for a cone. She turned her head and looked at Luo Mo with a hopeful expression.
The ice cream vendors were also students from the academy, who volunteered to help out with the festival. One of them noticed the adorable and obedient Luna, and was amazed by her resemblance to the game character.
She couldn't help but compare her to the game version of Luna, and realized that they were identical. Not only that, but she also looked very much like Principal Theresa, who was the most popular person in the academy. It was like a dream come true!
"Can I hug her?" she asked eagerly, glancing at Luna and then at Luo Mo.
The truth was, the students of St. Freya adored the principal and wished they could hug her, but they respected her authority and kept their distance.
As for Luna in the game, they all fell for her and became her loyal fans, wanting to cherish the girl who danced under the moonlight.
"I can buy her some food. It's okay if she eats a lot!!" She said, realizing that she sounded too eager. She quickly waved her hands and tried to explain herself.
Luna turned to look at Luo Mo with a sad face, and Luo Mo felt his heart melt.
He firmly shook his head and declined. He didn't want to let Luna go with anyone else.
He was the owner of a big company, and he had plenty of money to spend on her.
He used to think that money was useless, but now he was glad that he had it.
Luna took the ice cream and walked away with Luo Mo, leaving behind the disappointed students. They missed their chance to hug the adorable Luna cosplayer!
Luna walked along the road, enjoying her ice cream. Her red tongue licked the creamy treat, and some of it melted in the corner of her mouth. She felt a chill on her lips.
She smiled and ran to Luo Mo, who was waiting for her. She wanted to share her happiness with him.
"Human, try this," she said softly, her red eyes shining with excitement. She lifted her hand, and offered him the ice cream. It was close enough for him to take a bite.
Luo Mo leaned down and tasted the other side. The sweet and cold sensation filled his mouth, and he nodded in approval.
"It's yummy, human!" Luna exclaimed, her eyes curving into crescents. She only had eyes for Luo Mo.
She trusted him as she did in the dark sea, and hoped for a bright future. She held his hand gently, feeling his warmth.
he fulfilled her promise and expectation, and explored the wonders of the world.
"Welcome, welcome, one and all! Come and witness the amazing magic of Vill-V!"
On a stage that seemed to appear out of nowhere, a woman in a bizarre outfit tipped her hat and gestured to the crowd. She invited them to see her mysterious tricks.
She spun around, and the six gears on her back clicked together. Her hair was styled in two spikes, giving her a rebellious look.
She snapped her fingers, and a cloud of smoke erupted from the stage. It hid her from sight.
Luo Mo and Luna arrived at the front of the stage. Luo Mo rubbed his forehead, wondering what Weiwei was up to.
"Human, is that sister doing the same magic as on TV?" Luna asked, looking up with interest.
"Her magic… is probably not like the ones on TV." Luo Mo said with a sigh.
The stage was clear of smoke, and Vill-V emerged in the middle. She scanned the crowd and noticed the two unusual spectators.
She smiled slyly. "Now, we need two volunteers to join me for the next trick. How about… you two over there!"
She pointed her finger at Luo Mo and Luna, who were standing near the stage. She grinned at them.
"Human… are we safe here?" Luna asked nervously. She clung to Luo Mo's hand and hesitated to go up.
Luo Mo was about to reply when some patrol officers from the academy showed up. They examined Vill-V's stage and checked the map.
They asked: "Who set this up without permission? This is not part of the academy's plan. This is forbidden. You need to apply first."
One of them was scribbling on a paper, as if she was taking notes. Vill-V saw that the situation was bad, and quickly ran to Luo Mo. She tossed him a doll, gave him a wink, and said, "Oh, too bad! I have to go, my lovely audience. Please accept this as an apology!"
With that, she vanished before the patrol officer could look up.
She looked up after finishing her notes, and realized that the woman she wanted to question was gone. She scratched her head and handed the paper to Luo Mo.
"Since you seem to know her, please give this to her." She said, and then sighed. "How many times has this happened today? I never get a chance to catch her."
Luo Mo wondered who else was causing trouble besides Vill-V.
"Has this happened more than once today?"
She gave Luo Mo a weary look and said, "The grand festival has attracted a lot of outsiders to the academy, so the principal told us to be extra careful."
She felt like she had found someone to vent to, so she continued to rant. "I don't understand why there are so many weirdos this time. There was one guy who was has eye that always close, and he was giving fortune readings to people. He couldn't see anything, but he was very accurate. He didn't have any credentials either."
"Another one was a masked man who was grilling meat and had no hygiene license. He claimed that he was dragged here by a pink-haired woman, but that's hard to believe. Who would buy that story?"
"Also, many shoppers have lost their belongings. They are just small things, but stealing is a serious crime. "
"And then there is a green-haired boy with two horns. I have no idea what character he is cosplaying, but he just stares at the merchandise without paying or talking. He is very annoying."
She said this with anger in her voice: "I don't understand why there are so many troublemakers this time, and then there is this magician."
She paused and blushed a little. "But… there is a pink-haired girl who is very friendly with cute girls. She is very pretty. She has elf ears. She smiles at you when she speaks. She clearly doesn't care about the rules and talks to anyone she likes. She is very bold!"
Luo Mo blinked; he had a feeling that he knew these people.
And, Elysia, you are something else!
