With a great power comes a great Responsability

One important thing to note is that Allen's Spider Family wasn't discreet when moving around New York. Many pedestrians recorded them swinging through the buildings. This caused panic as people didn't know what was happening, but also piqued curiosity.

Gwen and MJ were in a state of euphoria and freedom and didn't notice, but Allen did see the commotion they caused in New York and soon worldwide, thanks to social media.

Being a public figure who doesn't even hide his real face in livestreams, Allen didn't take it too seriously. Besides, both Gwen and MJ were too difficult to recognize in their real selves. Even if someone who knew them found them dressed that way, they wouldn't know who they were.

...

Inside a bank, a common situation unfolded: four armed men entered and subdued the two security guards, then threatened all the customers to lie on the floor.

Normally, they would go to the tellers for the money available, but they didn't want thousands; they wanted millions of dollars and they weren't casual thieves.

To prevent robberies, banks usually are very cautious with the vault, changing opening and closing times, and making sure those who know the combination aren't present in the bank. So if someone robs the bank, they can only get the money available for normal transactions.

Of course, that's when talking about common thieves. This time, there was an unexpected and unforeseen factor. An employee was an accomplice, an employee with over ten years of service who had information about when the vault would be open, so the accomplices planned to come right when the vault was open.

The protocol is to close immediately in these situations, but the employee pulled out a gun and prevented those in charge of the vault from closing it. So, three of the thieves quickly went to the vault without looting the tellers, and one stayed to watch over the customers and staff.

The manager was in shock; seeing one of his long-time colleagues armed was distressing.

"How could you do this?!" he angrily yelled at the traitor. "You're throwing away ten years of work?!!"

"Money, as simple as that, manager. I want a lot of money; the retirement plan is too little, and I hate this place," the man replied as he removed his tie, put on a bulletproof vest and gloves, then pressed an earpiece.

"Mouse, how's everything going?" the thief said.

They weren't casual thieves; they planned everything and had a lot of practice.

There was a female hacker in an unknown building with multiple active screens; she was disrupting the vault's automatic closing system.

"You have two minutes... Tsk," the woman clicked her tongue while cursing the idiot for using her favorite code name; now, he couldn't use it anymore. 'I should stop renting my services to people who don't meet my requirements...'

"Understood!" The man was unaware that he had angered the clandestine hacker he hired for the job.

The men moved quickly and filled bags with millions of dollars to take them to a black van waiting outside.

One of the customers tried to move to call the police, but the monitoring thief kicked him in the nose, breaking it. It wasn't a coincidence that he was in charge of watching; he had good vision and was the best shooter.

"Very brave... but that's what graveyards are filled with!" The thief aimed his submachine gun at the guard. While they wanted to do a clean job, he needed to set an example of what happens if they disobey.

At that moment, something came in, breaking the reinforced window as if it were common glass. It was Gwen Stacy; she immediately shot her web and covered the man's hands and gun. The bewildered thief saw something sticky that wouldn't let him move his fingers.

"Mutants!!"

Gwen landed with a kick to the man's face. Due to her super strength, she needed to restrain herself, or she'd end up killing the thief. Luckily, Gwen's sub-system had an automatic control function, limiting her strength depending on the opponent.

The thief was sent flying until crashing into the counter; people screamed, and everyone was alarmed.

"Gwen, be careful, there are people!" MJ also entered through the hole Gwen had made; she was more nervous for her first mission. Meanwhile, Gwen seemed to have a natural talent for these things.

"Sorry, I didn't hit him hard," Gwen apologized; she was a complete novice. If they didn't have Allen with them, she wouldn't have done something like this on her first day with her abilities.

"Right now, a little is too much against an ordinary person." Allen entered through the door, walking with his hands in his pockets. His gaze passed over the terrified people and stopped at the thief, whose jaw was broken from Gwen's casual kick, but he'd survive.

"Fucking luck!!"

The thieves hurried out upon hearing the commotion and shot at Allen, perhaps because he was the most striking of the three or because he was the closest.

Allen remained still and silent as the bullets hit him repeatedly, only to fall to the ground inert. Allen not only stopped the bullets but also killed their momentum to prevent them from ricocheting.

After emptying a magazine each, they were scared. If the opponent was immune to bullets, there was nothing regular humans could do, of course, unless you were Batman.

"You're a mutant!" one of the thieves shouted, a mix of fear and anger evident; his hands trembled, and his legs seemed weak. It was obvious he had no intention of fighting; Allen thought it wasn't even necessary to fight.

"You bastard!" Gwen screamed furiously and jumped at the thief, delivering a kick that broke all his teeth and slammed him against the wall.

"You son of a b...!!"

The second thief angrily shouted and cursed; for a moment, Allen thought it was Rebecca, but no, it was Mary Jane who hit one of the thieves in the abdomen so hard that he began to vomit. Then she jumped at the other and kicked him in the groin, making him scream horribly.

A super strength kick, that man is finished even if he doesn't die...

"Gwen? MJ?" Allen swallowed hard; it was the first time he saw them so upset.

Of course, it was a common reaction considering the situation. Someone shooting at your loved ones in front of you naturally makes you furious, and all the accumulated impotence and stress of seeing Allen in danger over and over again added to it.

"Don't you realize yet?" Wednesday's voice came from the side, giving Allen a horrible premonition.

Gwen and MJ were silent as they trembled after what they had done. Allen felt like a fool, not realizing how badly they felt seeing him risk his life without being able to do anything.

He approached and took them in his arms simultaneously. His life isn't just his own, that's something Allen must not forget, no matter what happens.

"I'm sorry, Gwen, I'm sorry, Jane," Allen apologized with the sincerest tone he could muster. An apology might sound small at this moment, but it was an apology from the bottom of his heart.

The girls felt terrible at this moment; they hadn't realized all the emotions they had accumulated. Mary Jane felt horrible thinking that she could have killed someone a moment ago. Gwen was trembling; she almost became a murderer and didn't know what her parents would say if that happened.

Allen saw the state both girls were in and recalled Stan Lee's story...

"Now that I think about it... maybe it's something you both need to hear..."

"With great power comes great responsibility..." Allen felt strange saying that, but he agreed. It doesn't mean you have to be entirely good or noble, but you must remember that you live in a world that you can break with your hands. 'The fear of Superman...'

After a few minutes, the girls calmed down, and Allen went towards the last thief. Two were taken down by Gwen and two by MJ, but the employee thief remained terrified in a corner.

As he approached, the thief yelled not to come near and called them monsters. Allen shoved a wad of bills from the floor into the thief's mouth.

"Is this what you wanted? Swallow it!" Allen said coldly.

The thief turned blue, feeling the presence caused by the massive cursed energy in Allen's body. Remember, he has the power of Sukuna and Gojo combined, although, without the six active eyes, he can't use it at their level.

The police started arriving; Allen and the girls hurriedly left the bank, getting involved with the police only brought trouble.

As if remembering something important Allen turned around before leaving and pulled out the neuralyzer so that the witnesses would forget his conversation with the girls.

Upon exiting, Gwen turned pale as she saw her father among the police surrounding the place, but he didn't recognize her, so she sighed in relief.

"Allen, shouldn't we clarify that we're not thieves?" MJ asked worriedly, not wanting them to be thought of as dangerous or thieves.

"It's not necessary; the witnesses will take care of that," Allen analyzed the situation before moving away from the scene with the girls behind him, no reason to get involved in problematic things today.

The three had a complicated first night but it turned out okay.

...

"Spiders Invade New York!"

Jonah Jameson slammed the desk while putting the bank incident on the front page.

As usual, his assistant questioned his decision to antagonize anything he found strange or dangerous.

"Nonsense! A group of mutants with spider powers enters a bank, nearly kills the thieves, and runs away without showing their faces?! They're plotting something!!"

The man had been defaming Allen in his newspaper for two days, but now his attention was on the Spider Family.

"But the witnesses said they caught the thieves; they must be aspiring superheroes," the nervous assistant replied.

"Aspiring?! Like the egotistical Tony Stark?! The guy who enters foreign countries to fight terrorists and has a green monster that causes more destruction than an earthquake?!" Jameson sneered with disdain.

The assistant remained silent; superheroes are problematic but better than the current villains who only destroy, steal, and kill.

John Jonah Jameson lit his favorite cigar, and at that moment, his eyes lit up. "I thought of a better headline, Masked Arachnids Invade: A Threat to the World?!"

"Sir, don't you think that's an exaggeration? Bringing the world into it with just a few masked superheroes is a bit much."

Jonah Jameson cut off the conversation. "No!! Now everyone, get to work, that's what I pay you for, and someone gets me images of them!!"

...

Allen attended school with Gwen and Mary Jane. The girls had calmed down after a night where Allen slept with them, obviously, nothing perverted happened.

Allen informed Gwen's mother, who just laughed and said they should use protection. Allen felt uncomfortable and had a dry throat; Gwen's parents were too different, the mother insisted on grandchildren, and the father looked for excuses to beat up Allen.

Allen looked at Gwen and MJ beside him; they were okay now. After all, they weren't children; they understood what they had done wrong and needed to move forward.

As they entered the school, students murmured while looking at them. While it was common for them to do so, this time, it seemed more exaggerated. Allen searched for any news on social media with his phone and discovered the cause.

There were videos of Allen and Gwen holding hands in the city, Allen and MJ in the street in the same way, and finally, Allen with Felicia riding a motorcycle.

Who, when, and how they got these images were inconsequential; Allen ended up appearing as a lucky womanizer in everyone's eyes.

Allen's reaction was first shock, then annoyance, but seconds later, he went blank and accepted it.

"What do we do?!" Gwen was pale.

"Calm down, Gwen, nothing is compromising, we're just being friendly... a little too friendly," MJ was on the same page as Allen, in the end, they were just innocent photos of Allen and them getting along very well.

"I don't care what the whole school thinks!" Gwen looked at Allen, frightened. "My father is the problem!"

This time Allen turned pale too; he could imagine George's reaction upon knowing his future son-in-law was a womanizer.

...

In a police gym, George was punching a punching bag while a poor rookie barely held it.

"George, you have a call!"

Another officer entered the gym with a phone in hand. George felt strange to be called privately. He stopped training while the recruit holding the punching bag fell to the ground, exhausted.

George frowned as it was a call from Norman Osborn.

"Mr. Osborn, I've already explained, that you can't offer gifts, and your son will remain under house arrest until his trial."

"George Stacy, I didn't call you for that; I'd like to make a deal..."
