Three weeks later
“This still feels like a dream!”
“I laughed when I heard the news. I thought that it was fool's day or something, but now it’s sinking in!”
“People like her are dying and yet the evil ones are remaining. This world is unfair!”
Whispering to each other, the ladies, dressed in black, sat on benches inside the church as they looked at the majestic coffin, which was surrounded by garlands.
The church was shrouded in gloominess and every attendant, from kids to adults, all wore black to send off the elder who had changed the lives of many.
“To think that she went on a vacation only to meet her demise. My heart still aches!” another woman sighed dejectedly as her eyes unconsciously stopped at a young man’s cold face, making her feel more pity for the bereaved.
“She Just left first to prepare a place for us to stay when we join later.”
“She didn’t deserve to die, though!”
