In Long Island, New York, two recently constructed roads near the dock area, though not officially opened, were granted authorization for crew to shoot the street fight scene.
Thanks to Martin's connections, numerous entertainment reporters attended the media press conference, some even covering social and current affairs news.
Martin personally executed all the action scenes that day, scaling heights, leaping low, utilizing military spurs, pistols, automatic rifles, and sniper rifles. He single-handedly infiltrated the safe house where Ivanov was hiding.
Even an outsider could discern Martin's excellent skills, standard tactical movements, and evident long-term training.
In this particular scene, HK Company's products, as sponsors, once again stole the spotlight. Martin, breaking in, used a G22 sniper rifle, HK416 carbine, and USP pistol.
Hoffman, visiting HK and overseeing the scene, expressed extreme satisfaction. The guns looked good, the people looked good, and the various tactical moves looked impressive in action. The visual effects were outstanding.
As the script dictated, another scene unfolded.
Martin swiftly swapped the magazine of his pistol and charged into the house.
Evans, the young actor portraying Ivanov, ran frantically.
With a gunshot sound, Evans fell as Martin raised his pistol.
Facing Martin, Evans exclaimed, "It's just a dog. I'll compensate you and even buy you a new one..."
Without a word, Martin shot off Ivanov's head, turned, and strode away.
Chad, pleased, shouted, "Very good, this is the feeling, this one is over!"
This shot once again emphasized the dog element, showcasing the film's crisp and neat action style.
The crew would soon relocate to another factory for filming, allowing the actors a relatively long break.
In the temporary media area, Martin allowed reporters to take photos before moving to the rest area to rest.
Bruce approached, saying, "Kim and the others are here."
"Let them come," Martin replied. Bruce had informed Martin that the Kardashian sisters would be visiting.
For Bruce's sake, Martin was willing to chat with them, unconcerned about any hype.
Kim and Khloe arrived with a middle-aged woman. Martin initially thought it was an assistant but soon realized it was Kris Jenner, the mother of Kim and Khloe.
Bruce explained, "Following behind is Kris Jenner, the mother of Kim and Khloe."
Martin's eyes held a strange expression, and Bruce quickly clarified, "Things aren't what you think. Don't talk nonsense."
"What did I think?" Martin retorted. "Clearly, you have the idea, but you're relying on me."
Shaking his head, he added, "Bruce, you've fallen way too deep."
Bruce chose not to explain further, as he knew more explanation could lead to more misconceptions.
Taking advantage of the distance, Martin quipped, "Your experience, in the Holy Valley Industrial Park, could be a perfect template for a leading actor! When we return to Los Angeles, should I ask Jenna to base a character on you? Can you collect royalties?"
Bruce countered, "It seems your experience might be more fitting. I've even thought of a name for you: Martin's Hollywood Life!"
Martin stood up and took a few steps outside without responding.
Quickening her pace, Kim greeted him, saying, "Martin, long time no see."
Casually, Martin shook her hand and remarked, "Kim, you look even more beautiful than before."
Kim's backside had noticeably broadened since their last meeting. Whether due to training or other factors, Martin couldn't inquire further.
Taylor's agent engaged in discussions with the production team, leaving Taylor to chat with Martin in the lounge area.
"How long will you be in New York?" Taylor inquired.
Martin calculated, "I can wrap up my remaining scenes in ten days at most. After filming, I'll head back to Los Angeles; there's plenty of thing to handle there." Taylor frowned slightly, "Our time together is too short; it's challenging for me to find inspiration. It's hard to write a compelling song with you as the subject."
Martin inquired, "Where do you spend most of your time?"
Taylor replied, scratching her head, "Nashville, the sacred ground of country music."
Martin recalled it as a rural village.
Feeling she needed to be more proactive to leverage Martin's popularity, Taylor suggested, "I can come to Los Angeles. I watched your new film trailer, the special edition of 'The Dark Knight.' Your performance as the Joker is amazing and captivating."
"Thank you," Martin replied politely.
Taylor then asked, "Can I have the honor of attending the premiere of 'The Dark Knight'?"
While Martin had multiple premiere invitations, he couldn't use them all. He offered, "Leave me your contact address, and I'll have someone mail you an invitation."
Taylor left her home address in Nashville and added, "I'll stay in Los Angeles for a while, getting to know you better. Inspiration will come naturally."
With a smile, Martin said, "I'm very much looking forward to being the lead actor in your song."
Taylor shared the excitement, anticipating many benefits from the process of writing songs for Martin, even if she couldn't pinpoint specifics.
The crew reached a preliminary agreement with Taylor's agent, with specific terms to be discussed later. The film's interlude and ending songs, suitable for Taylor's style, remained undecided.
During the car ride back, Taylor discussed writing songs for Martin with her manager, who remarked, "This is a good opportunity. If it works well, your next album will receive more attention."
The country star considered the broader horizon, stating, "I won't let this opportunity slip away."
To leave a positive impression, Taylor planned to bake snacks for Martin, the crew, and creators.
In the following days, amidst filming, Martin received two special cakes from Taylor, earning praise from many on the crew for her down-to-earth demeanor.
After the afternoon's work concluded, the crew and creators held a meeting at the studio. Martin, emerging a bit late, suddenly felt he had forgotten something important. Turning to Bruce, who was driving, he asked, "Is there anything crucial I haven't done?"
Bruce replied casually, "Haven't you gone to find Angela and KK?"
Martin recalled the night when Angela and KK visited the hotel. It suddenly dawned on him, "Leonardo went to a mental hospital to experience life for over a week. Oh, I forgot to call him and ask what happened."
