Beth's POV
I was tired of the feeling of being haunted by bad luck and curse. They wouldn't leave Aaron and me alone. I desperately wanted to escape and forget everything.
I looked over as a few low cries and groans came from the corner and found that Arc was still lying on the ground with blood constantly oozing out from the scratches on his chest.
I rushed over, flipped Arc's body so he could lie flat on the ground, and pressed the injured area on his chest with my palms until I felt the warmth coming from them.
Under my gaze, his wound began to heal quickly, and his pale face due to excessive blood loss became ruddy. He blinked and woke up.
"Emma hurt you," I explained to Arc what had just happened, pointing to the blood on the ground, which had not completely disappeared, and telling him about the curse. I figured that since he was the Messenger of the Moon Goddess, maybe he would know what to do. Yet I was disappointed.
