Chapter 36: Clash of Abyssal Powers

Chapter starts on planet Kurayami with the intense battle between Vaelithra in her Abyssal Reckoning form and Zenithar in his Abyssal Ascension form. The sands around them explode with each powerful strike, and the planet trembles from the sheer force of their combat.

Zenithar, seething with anger, berates Vaelithra for managing to recover. He hovers above her, ready for another round of combat.

**Zenithar:** You managed to recover! Ok, then, you could entertain me a bit because now I'm angry. Do you know how long it took me to find you?

**Vaelithra:** (with determination) Ok, you found me, and now you'll regret it. I'll get that void key out of you the hard way. You'll regret the day you were born, Zenithar.

Vaelithra launches herself at Zenithar, and the battle resumes with fierce intensity. Each punch and kick sends shockwaves through the air, creating craters in the dark sand. Their fight is a spectacle, and the planet itself seems to respond to their power.

Vaelithra decides to use her Ebon Chains, conjuring ethereal chains made of darkness ki to restrain Zenithar. The chains drain his energy over time, weakening him as they struggle.

Caught off guard, Zenithar is unable to defend effectively, and Vaelithra delivers a powerful kick to his head, sending him soaring. She uses the Ebon Chains to pull him back and continues her relentless assault, a combination of kicks and punches that seem unstoppable.

However, Zenithar manages to catch Vaelithra's leg, turning the tide of the battle. He strikes her down, and the impact leaves Vaelithra gasping for air. Her pupils flash, and she's on the brink of collapse, but her determination keeps her going.

**Vaelithra:** (despite her injuries) You bastard, get ready!

With a burst of energy, Vaelithra punches Zenithar in the eyes, temporarily blinding him. Seizing the opportunity, she charges an enormous amount of energy into her fist.

**Vaelithra:** (with fierce determination) You won't stop me!

Vaelithra charges at Zenithar, her fist crackling with energy, ready to deliver a finishing blow. But in the last minute, Zenithar uses his Void Sphere, generating a sphere of pure darkness that absorbs her attack.

He seizes her by the head and slams her back to the ground. She lies paralyzed, unable to move, as Zenithar ascends to the sky, preparing a massive energy attack to finish her off.

Meanwhile, the Galactic Patrol's spaceship lands nearby, and Selena, Kai, and Seraphine emerge. They activate their scouters, trying to make sense of the situation. The scouters indicate two energy signatures on the ground (Vaelithra and Zenithar) and two more coming from Vaelithra's spaceship in the sky (Sylvara and Elara).

Suddenly, Selena's scouter malfunctions when it reads a power level of 57,000 coming from a distance.

**Selena:** (concerned) Who's out there with such power?

We shift to another part of Planet Kurayami, where a mysterious figure in a dark hood comments on the situation.

**Dark Hooded Figure:** (sinister) So, you failed, Vaelithra. Sylvara and Elara... It seems I need to finish the job myself.

The stage is set for a dramatic showdown with multiple forces converging on the battlefield. The fate of Vaelithra and the Void Key hangs in the balance.
