Before another word could be spoken, the goblin had already hopped off the stool and spun around.
He waved while snickering over his shoulder.
"Make sure we've got somewhere nice to chit-chat. This won't take long at all."
Mira nodded as the goblin mixed into the crowd. A faint smirk was present on her lips, joined by a keen squint in her thin red irises.
"Son?"
She motioned for the young man to come closer while her stare lingered on the busy crowd.
"Send word to your sister. Have a room prepared for our knowledgeable guest."
The young adult spotted her enthused smirk, prompting him to laugh with a beaming grin of his own. "Consider it done, Mother."
Like clockwork, he scurried back to the open kitchen with a swift whisper, leaped over the encircling tables, and fled the scene in seconds. Yet nothing was out of the ordinary for the booth workers.
